I've upgraded my Cotton Balls and Vaseline tinder to use Coconut Oil, Beeswax and Pine Essential Oil instead, and the result is better than I imagined!

Good idea, i will ry to make some, so far i was using cosmetic pads and a bit of melted candle wax, wrapped up in duct tape so it stays dry, and than you just cut in the middle and it will burn for a good while, but i like your idea too...
also i found when using rod, its easier for me to put it on something hard and stable, like a peace of wood or stone or anything, i found doing it in the air like you do its not that great.......

thanks for sharing the update, and adjustment, on your tinder choice… moving from VASELINE to coconut oil is something i intend to utilize myself now (as a carried tinder)… the idea of purchasing and utilizing VASELINE (being a petroleum product) never really reasonated with my Soul-Being)! 🤲
