Hello and good morning to all.
Today I'll be sharing the second tree sculpture out of 3 that I'm carving for a good customer.
Here is the before picture, I had to cut about 6ft off the top. Scary...and the tree species was ash, some of the hardest wood to carve.
My customer had the plans..here is the end of day 1.
After day #2, I had the majority of it carved. Only worked half a day though..Father's day
A little airbrushing for color. Will return in a few days to varnish and highlight.
She was happy with the results, next up tree #3
