Hi. my dear friends!
Yesterday was full of hustle and bustle. My daughter and I were going to go to the Carpathians. I drove to the service station to make sure our car was ready to go. But an unpleasant surprise awaited me ... It turned out that the car needed repair of the chassis and the total check was about $ 1,500 ... I agreed with the manager to do only the most necessary so that we could go, and finish the part that can wait after the trip . So we agreed, my son-in-law volunteered to help me pay the check and I left the car for repairs. I can pick it up tomorrow.
I also arranged with my friends that they would look after my dogs and other animals. I set up another room so they could separate some of the dogs if needed, wrote up a feeding schedule, and made a lot of other preparations to make them feel confident. Of course they know my dogs well but they have never stayed with them without me.
But today it turned out that all yesterday's chores and preparations were not relevant. My daughter unfortunately fell ill and we have to cancel the trip. She is very upset. I console her and say that there is still a long life ahead and we will have time to go to the Carpathians, but this does not seem to help much.
On my way home, I stopped to take a few photos. Now it is really unusually beautiful and the Carpathians are probably magnificent. But life is life and not everything depends on our desires and plans. The more flexible we perceive the need to change plans, the easier our lives. I thought I should organize some fall photoshoots as soon as my daughter feels better to keep the fond memories of this fall no matter what.
Also in the next ten days I have to write another article on animal rights. My editor called me when I was returning home from the city and asked if I could write it. It's amazing, but the magazine continues to come out no matter what! The fact is that the editorial office is located in Kharkov! Under constant shelling, these amazing people continue to do their job. Will I be able to prepare material for them when I am near Kyiv in relative safety? Of course I can!
So, this week is over. With good or bad results, but that's how it is. Life goes on despite the war.
