Quiero compartirles una divertida y creativa estrategia, ideal para que nuestros pequeños comprendan de manera sencilla y divertida el concepto de fracción y sus partes, se trata de un tablero elaborado con material de provecho, muy sencillo, pero util.
Desde pequeños aprendemos los números naturales con los que aprendemos el conteo 1, 2, 3, 4, ......, pero, qué sucede cuando comenzamos a familiarizarnos con mitades o medios, cosas como un pastel que estaba entero y, lo partieron, allí es donde entran las fracciones, y, se hace necesario entender este concepto matemático, que el niño comprenda con claridad que una fracción se utiliza para representar las partes que se toman de un objeto que ha sido dividido en partes iguales, y, que está compuesto por 2 elementos: numerador y, denominador!
Con esta estrategia el niño podrá:
explorar nuevos conocimientos
comprender con claridad el concepto de fracción
identificar los elementos de una fracción
escribir fracciones
leer fracciones
ubicar los elementos de una fracción
seguir instrucciones
trabajar la motricidad
aplicar los nuevos conocimientos a situaciones cotidianas

Since we are little we learn the natural numbers with which we learn to count 1, 2, 3, 4, ......, but, what happens when we begin to familiarize ourselves with halves or halves, things like a cake that was whole and, they split it, that's where fractions come in, and, it is necessary to understand this mathematical concept, that the child understands clearly that a fraction is used to represent the parts that are taken from an object that has been divided into equal parts, and, that is composed of 2 elements: numerator and, denominator!

Preparación del tablero:
Forramos el cartón con papel blanco, y con la ayuda de una regla dibujamos nueve vasos, dentro de los cuales escribiremos diferentes fracciones, como estamos iniciando solo usaremos números pequeños.
Con el papel azul, pegamos un cuadro encima de cada vaso, al que recortaremos tantas tiras comos sea el denominador (como se ve en la imagen), asi, queda listo el tablero!

Con el tablero dispuesto se le explica al niño los elementos de la fracción, indicando que el denominador se escribe debajo, y, representa las partes en que se dividió la unidad; y, el numerador va arriba, y, representa las partes que se toman!
Se le indica que un una tijera recorte el numerador de cada vaso, y se va repasando la lectura de cada fracción.
En el ejemplo, comenzamos con 2/3, en el cual el niño debe recortar 2 tiras que representa el numerador!
Asi, continua hasta terminar el tablero, se puede hacer en forma aleatoria o, siguiendo un orden!

The child is instructed to cut out the numerator of each cup with a scissors, and the reading of each fraction is reviewed.
