It was the Diwali time, and as I was busy putting lights on the roof. At same time the kids were busy in doing something else. It was not something which can be left off. Afterall something big is happening.
Our family kids were playing with colours right in middle of our courtyard. Diwali and colours ?? ..Well there I nothing unusual. While Diwali is co sidereal to be festival of firecrackers, kids at home also love to decorate. And the best way to decorate is by making Rangoli. Which is an exquisite art form, that require some specific drawing talents to draw different shape and sizes with dry colours.
Our kids decided to make a grand Rangoli work for every members of our big joint family. It is not easy job doing, carrying out the task but looking of the final outcome everyone appreciated it.
They decided to make a huge colourful Peacock. The problem is that they require many cooours to fill every bits of the colourful bird. Thankfully we manage to bring a big colours packet that have plenty of different colours to make the colourful bird.
We only end up praising their effort and talent. Drawing such a huge one is near to impossible. However they made it easy by outlining the bird image looking atbthe Google and then slowly filling each part with colours.
The kids faced the real test when drawing and mixing the tail-end. The most beautiful part of the peacock which has so many colours on the feathers. Lacking some of the xolours they manage to fill them up as well, with whatever they have in stock.
Exquisitely, filling each, putting each colours one after the another, using fi gers to spread them and give decent shape. And finally after hours of work they manage to draw exactly lookalike of Original Peacock.
I belive, the effort does paid off, with the final outcome. We were so I.prrssed, that we didn't removed it for next two day. It was kids effort, and noone dare to spoil them. They have not taken any training and still they manage to draw like a pro.
