Over the past couple of months in my journey of learning how to code, I’ve realized most of us have a problem with either a broken pc or laptop and some don’t even have a laptop to start with. That’s why today I am here to give you guys an alternative platform that can help you start or continue your journey in learning a programming language. I have been using this particular platform that supplies a compiler for a variety of programming languages and it comes for free. The name of this platform is Programiz, and with this website you just need a mobile phone to access it, for free. It is also available on android and iOS devices.

On the homepage of the website, you see that they are also ready to teach you any programming language of your choice and it’s also comes for free. There are several tutorials available on their website which is accessible to everyone, you can also enroll yourself into their academy if you want to learn and in the end you will be awarded a certificate to show your prove of participation. At the top also, there is a ‘search bar’ which you can search for any problem or language you need help with.

To explore more about the page, scroll down and you’ll see that a portion contains some number of languages like Python and SQL. Just below it, there is an option that reads “view all tutorials”. When clicked you will now be exposed to so many other tutorials for other programming languages of which you can choose from and learn. This gives you so many options to choose from and learn at the comfort of your home.

It doesn’t just stop there, another portion just below shows you several compilers on the website of which you can practice your skills with. This helps you to test your skills learned from the tutorials and it also comes for free, all you need is your mobile phone. For example, you’ll find compilers for Python, Java, C++ and HTML editor. With this, you are able to run your codes and modify them as well. This website is absolutely amazing and the fact that it comes for free has even made it better. The main aim of the website is to make coding easier and accessible to all interested individuals.

Lastly, what even makes everything beautiful is that you can download all these for free on any device (android and iOS). It is available on the Google play-store app and iOS AppStore. You can access the full tutorials of each language on the app as well.

So I decided go with the Java compiler, and when you open that compiler there is always a sample code pre written for you so that you can test it out if it really works. With this, the code written is how to print/display “Hello World” on Java. Now all you have to do is, is to click on run to test the code. It will take you to the output section and display the result of the code. You can write your own codes by clearing the compiler section and writing your own codes. With this, you can now test your coding skills and learn more from their tutorials as well.

Compiler on the left and Output of code on the right

You can always switch to any other programming language at anytime, all you have to do is click on the three lines at the left top corner and select the compiler of your choice, It really is that simple lol.

I really hope this post will become useful to anyone interested in coding, and improve your skills in different languages of programming. Now, there isn’t any excuse to stop you from starting your journey in coding, all the materials you may need are available on the website. Thank you for reading, I hope to share more information of this, all other information or suggestions are welcomed.
