Hello growing enthusiasts and welcome back to another blog update. Today is week 4 and week 5 of these beautiful plants!
The plants are looking well and the discoloration in the older leaves on the one plant has not gotten any worse.
This weekend I will be trying to make room for the outdoor strains coming in. I will be going with the Northern Lights again as they grew really good for me outdoors last year.
This first picture is take from the back side of my grow room. As you can see, there's a big difference in size of the plants under each light.
The white paper looking things are sticky traps for the gnats.
I am trying to get ahead of them because I know they can get out of hand if you don't take precautions when you first see them.
I'm really happy with what this KIND LED is producing so far!
This picture is of the plant with the discoloration on a few leaves but hasn't gotten any worse so I think it's out of the danger zone!
This side by side picture below is of the Miracle Mack at week 4 under each light. Huge difference in my opinion and now I'm debating on forking out the money for another LED to replace the HPS but I'm not sure if I can afford it yet.
I got a bit of a surprise today by finding what appears to be a lettuce plant growing in one of my pots! 👇
How did that get there! Maybe from the manure I used? I'm not totally sure but it has to go! 🤣
The week 5 plants are really starting to fill out. They are really bushy and the stems are starting to swell.
This picture is from the entrance of the room looking in...👇
I will leave this blog with this last picture. If you are still growing under HPS and you have the means, I suggest getting a good LED to replace your outdated, power sucking HPS! 🤣🤣
That's gonna do it for this weeks blog but be on the lookout this weekend for my next blog about how I do my self watering tubs and the benefit of using them.
Thanks for joining me and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the grow! Until next time, keep growing my friends!
