Good evening my dear friends!

I hope you are having a great and fun weekend. Today I also allowed myself to relax a little. In the end I did a very good job the whole previous week. So today, for fun, I photographed our scops owls. These are amazingly cute and funny creatures. One thing saddens me - they don't want to hunt! But I can't let them go into the wild until they learn how to do it. But they are in no hurry! What for? Every night a bald, wingless creature comes and brings food!

They look big and serious in macro photographs, but in reality they are tiny. But they still clap their beaks menacingly when they are not in the mood.

I love what you do! What lucky little owls to have a flightless friend looking out for them.
Where you able to resolve that issue with the new law around rehabilitation for birds of prey?

So far, the issue is being discussed by volunteers and lawyers. We work as usual. But what options do we have? Birds continue to need help no matter what is written in the law.

keeping my fingers crossed for you! and for the birds.

It's look quite funny but amazing pictures ❤️
