How to change pickups on a Les Paul (and an LTD)

In this video I am running through the process of swapping pickups on two of my guitars. My Epiphone Les Paul Custom (2000, Korea) and my LTD M-10. But, there are not just any pickups that I am swapping... I juiced up my LTD a few years a go with a pair of Seymour Duncan's, so real high end pickups. SH2n and SH4 JB, to be exact.

I have been wanting to see how these pups sound on the Les Paul, and also how they'd look! I always loved Slash's black Les Paul Custom with the uncovered pickups, and man it looks sweet. Also, this LTD is becoming a Frankenstrat! It now had some Les Paul Custom pickups on it! Is that a world first? LTD M-10 with Les Paul Custom Gold pups? Could be :) either way, it looks awesome with them too!

So I go through some generic steps with voiceover just so you can see what's up :) sometimes the camera is a little out of focus, but I hope you enjoy this process as I sure did! Sound check coming up next ;)

Yes.. I know changing the string is idea, but this method means you don't have to. I didn't change my string and there is actually a string shortage in New Zealand right now...
