For many years I have been away from the interconnected web of the world wide web. I was for many years apart of Ste@m and a bit of what that entailed but had walked away from it all to spent time traveling, making art, and learning.
When i came back to check into the internet i had found a big change had happened and i was a bit lost.
Yet i found Hive through old channels and stumbled into the front end of @ecency to a incentivised space where a new user got just that little bit more from the Hive by collecting points for essential activities. I was happy to post my art to the two friends who fallowed me. Considering i was not making much from my posts Ecency gave me the little bit of an edge on rewards and building a following with a sleek front end.
As a new user, Ecency provides a seamless front end with enough information to be manageable but not too much that it was overwhelming to someone who was trying to grasp the basics of Hive.
I have used other front ends and have tried the majors but always come back to Ecency for it feels and looks like home base to which i like navigating Hive through. To also have a phone app that is functional usable and similar to the desktop version is a huge plus+.
I have sent my reference code to a few people and had two friends sign up through Ecency and two others are on the fence about joining....slowly slowly they come to what is best as they hear me talk about it now and again. "there is a tribe for that...here is my reference code through Ecency".
I make and post art that i have been inspired to make in life. Hive has provided a playground for that mingling of artist and any other like minds that want a place to showcase their wares, skills and words.
Thanks to: congrats to @barbara-orenya in your judge position, @seckorama for the sweet art work banners, and @melinda010100 for putting this contest on and who seems to always be at the top contributor / points earner on the Discovery tab on Ecency's front end. I gave you a run for your efforts a few times @melinda010100 but ultimately your skill and experience ranked me to just below your level. It was a goal of mine to be in the top three as you provided the marker being you were constantly first in the rankings. I am still trying to figure out how you get your points to action ratio so high. ... ? any tips?
I have a few ideas about getting people to Ecency and the Hive by releasing my work into the world. It would involve of attaching the series of postcard sized balloons to the string of a Balloon filled with helium a QR codes on the back directing people to my referral link through Ecency signup....basically helping all parties involved. No loose for all by everyone benefiting. That project is a few seasons, a few towns over, and many more solid up votes away from happening. But a really good way to bring people through my art to the community along with the oral promoting i do.
