A while ago, I saw this necklace on google image worn by this kpop idol. Here is the photo.

I was in love with the necklace but I can't really afford, after some searching for the materials online, I decided to DIY one for myself.

If you are interested with the official shop that sells this necklace, here is the link, they have many other beautiful necklace too.

Here is the materials I've gathered:

  • Many 6mm fake pearl beads
  • 4 butterfly accessories
  • Many 9-Shaped needle
  • Jump Rings
  • Chains for necklace, but for me I made the chain by connecting the jump rings.
  • A Lobster clasp

To connect the pearls, I bend the 9-Shaped needle to a 95 degree like the picture below, and cut off the extra wire.

Then, I curve it with this round nose plier

Until it form a loop like below, I also open the other side of the needle a little bit so I can connect it with the next pearl.

Connect it like this. Repeat the step until it form a length that is suitable for my neck.

Tada, now is time to connect the chain to one side of the necklace and the other side will be the lobster clasp with the jump ring.

It's not the end yet, time for the butterflies.

Connect them at the center of the necklace. It is approximately 3 pearls per butterfly.

Awwww this is so lovely, you couldn’t afford it, you made it yourself and it turned out so beautiful. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Thank you!

That looks amazing. It looks very classy and not to mention the skills you have to have to use the tweezers effectively. Very nice work.

Thank you so much 😊
