Hola amigos del DIY hoy quiero mostrarles el bordado más pequeño que hice hasta ahora con aguja mágica, suelo bordar posa vasos, pero hace un tiempo quería bordar pequeños llaveros, me costó un poco animarme hasta que llego San Valentín y decidí añadir entre los regalos que le hice a mi novio este pequeño llavero.
Hace mucho que no hacia bordado punch y ya tenía ganas de hacer alguna cosa nueva, pero me pasa que tengo demasiadas piezas así que las estoy regalando de a poco jaja, quizás debería a animarme a venderlas o algo así pero no para generar dinero sino para al menos cubrir los materiales y producir más ya que esta esta entre mis actividades favoritas, pero yo no puedo usar tantos posavasos o llaveros jaja.
Hello DIY friends, today I want to show you the smallest embroidery I have done so far with a magic needle, I usually embroider coasters, but a while ago I wanted to embroider small key chains, it took me a while to cheer up until Valentine's Day arrived and I decided to add among the gifts that I made my boyfriend this little keychain. I haven't done punch embroidery in a long time and I already wanted to do something new, but it happens to me that I have too many pieces so I'm giving them away little by little haha, maybe I should encourage myself to sell them or something like that but not to generate money but to at least cover the materials and produce more since this is among my favorite activities, but I can't use so many coasters or key chains haha.
Para hacer esto utilice lana blanca y lana roja, como tengo una caja llena de bollos de lana no tengo idea de las cantidades, pero no fue tanto realmente, al ser una pieza muy pequeña no requiere de tanto material y eso es lo bueno de trabajar miniaturas, pero requiere mucha más paciencia y trabajo para darle la forma necesaria.
Lo primero que hice como siempre fue tener listo mi bastidor con tela, en general uso un lienzo medio, ni muy duro ni muy blando, ya que el duro es difícil de penetrar con la aguja y el blando se desarma y se puede agujerear muy fácil, también preparé el dibujo base para el circulo y planteé las líneas guías para el corazón, al principio iba a bordar normal pero cuando fui avanzando no me gustó, así que decidí empezar de nuevo y bordar con la aguja mágica.
To do this I used white wool and red wool, as I have a box full of wool buns I have no idea of the quantities, but it really wasn't that much, being a very small piece it doesn't require that much material and that's the good thing about working miniatures, but it requires a lot more patience and work to give it the necessary shape. The first thing I did, as always, was to get my frame ready with fabric. In general, I use a medium canvas, neither too hard nor too soft, since the hard one is difficult to penetrate with the needle and the soft one disarms and can be pierced very easily. I also prepared the base drawing for the circle and set out the guidelines for the heart, at first I was going to embroider normally but when I got further I didn't like it, so I decided to start again and embroider with the magic needle.

Empecé bordando el corazón con color rojo, como siempre el punch engaña un poco jaja y mientras que del revés se ve bien del derecho esta sin definir, esto se termina después casi al final, sigo pensando como ir definiendo esto de forma más simple, quizás sería más fácil empezar por lo grande primero y lo pequeño después.
I started embroidering the heart with red, as always the punch is a bit tricky haha and while the reverse looks good, the right side is undefined, this ends almost at the end, I'm still thinking about how to define this in a simpler way, maybe it would be easier to start with the big first and the small later.
Borde todo lo blanco con mucha paciencia de no ir enganchando el resto que ya estaba, más siendo una superficie pequeña, al haber menos espacio hay que tener mucho más cuidado y a veces estirar un rulo puede hacer que mucho trabajo se pierda ya que el punch es una puntada continua.
Border all the white with a lot of patience so as not to hook the rest that was already there, especially since it is a small surface, since there is less space, you have to be much more careful and sometimes stretching a roller can cause a lot of work to be wasted since the punch is a continuous stitch.
Con toda la superficie bordada quedaba quitarlo de la base y empezar a rapar para que el corazón tenga forma, esto fue lo más complicado, tuve que ir cortando de a poco los bordes de los rulos para darle forma y un poco de arriba, pero intentando que todo quede muy parejo entre sí, me tomo un rato, aunque no fue tan largo.
With all the embroidered surface, it was left to remove it from the base and begin to shave so that the heart has a shape, this was the most complicated, I had to gradually cut the edges of the curls to give it shape and a little on top, but trying that everything is very even with each other, it took me a while, although it was not that long.
Despues de un rato de cortar zonas, presionar y peinar otras el corazón ya tenía forma, así que lo siguiente era cerrar, con la pistola de silicona y tela le di la terminación de atrás, y cubrí con una tela para que quedara bonito y prolijo, además cerrarlo lo protege mucho, asi que me asegure bien de que toda la zona este pegada.
After a while of cutting areas, pressing and combing others, the heart already had a shape, so the next thing was to close it, with the silicone gun and fabric I finished it on the back, and I covered it with a fabric to make it nice and neat. In addition, closing it protects it a lot, so I made sure that the entire area is glued.
Como paso final le agregue un broche para llavero para que se pueda colgar en algún bolso o mochila, y listo, ahora puede ir a todos lados.
Me gustó mucho hacerlo, aún trabajo en encontrar un método de rapado que me quede cómodo, pero creo que a largo plazo debería comprar una máquina para rapar o algo similar que ayude con esta parte del proceso, también descubrir que puedo bordar tan pequeño me alienta a ir probando más de estos pequeños llaveros para algunos regalos o decoraciones, espero que les haya gustado como a mí, hasta la próxima ❤️.
As a final step, I added a keyring clip so it can be hung on a bag or backpack, and voila, now it can go anywhere. I really enjoyed doing it, I'm still working on finding a method of shaving that is comfortable for me, but I think that in the long term I should buy a shaving machine or something similar to help with this part of the process, also finding out that I can embroider so small is encouraging Let's try more of these little keychains for some gifts or decorations, I hope you liked them like I did, see you next time ❤️.
