I haven't posted here in a while and I've missed it, so recently I have been trying out different patterns of crocheting, to be specific I'm trying out the granny sqaure patterns, which I've been struggling with for sometine now, so I asked myself instead of struggling "why not learn it" I decided to go with my thoughts of learning the pattern.
So here I am with the outcome of my granny squares pattern.
Materials used:
Yarns (blue, white, and brown)
Crochet needle
Scissors
For the first step, I made a knot and I continued to make four chains. Thereafter I went further into making a slip knot to get a circle. Inside the little circle, I made a chain of two and two double crochet, and after that, I made a chain of two again and three double crochet; I repeated the same process till I was done with my row one.
For the second row, I cut out my yarn and continued with another color, which is white; I started row two by making a chain of two inside the first opening, and then I made two double crochet because my first two chains count as one double crochet. So, inside each opening, I made three double crochet, a chain of two, and another three double then I ended with a slip knot.
For the third row, I cut my other yarn and started with the brown color yarn, I inserted my hook into the first opening and made a chain of two, two double crochet and another chain of two and three double crochet, in the next opening I made three double crochet and moved further into the next opening. I repeated the same process till I was done with my granny squares.
This particular project came out as expected because I put my time and effort into making it. So here is the outcome of my granny squares.
I'm gonna make a whole big project with the granny pattern. (All images are mine)
