So this weekend I decided to make a floral drawstring bag for my ear pod and to put some money in it.
Materials
Yarn (off-white, orange, and blue)
Crochet needle
Top gum
Scissors
Step one:
Take your yarn and make a slip knot, put your hook inside the loop and tighten it, then make the first chain, pull the hook so that the curved end moves forward pull the yarn over the loop to get a chain, then continue the same process to make twenty-five chains.
Step two:
Starting from the third chain make double crochet, you can use a pin to remember the first stitch, then the next stitch make double crochet then continue the same process with the rest of the double crochet, inside the last stitch make three double crochet that is at the end of the side then continue with double crochet to get the side, you can count your double crochet to know the amount you'll make for each side. When you're done with the row repeat the same process for the rest of the rows till it gets to your desired height for the bag.
Step three:
Drawstrings of the bag: First make a slip knot, put the hook inside the hole and tighten, and make ninety chains then cut the yarn and tie, and repeat the same process to get another one of it.
Step four:
Floral of the bag: Begin with a magic ring on your finger and do a single crochet, continue to do six single crochets, take the shortest yarn pull it slowly, and put your hook inside the single crochet, this part teaches you to change to the color of yarn, take the other color of yarn and pull over the yarn when you do the last step of the crochet slip stitch that is to link the edge together, to complete wrap and begin with two chains and make three double crochet inside the same stitch then do two chains and in the next stitch make a slip stitch, continue same process till the very last stitch then cut and adjust your petals to make them look nice and beautiful.
Now it is time to combine everything, take the drawstrings, and sew over the bag when you're done with the first part repeat the same process for the other side, make a knot for the drawstrings, and cut the yarn repeat the same process for the second side as well then put glue on the middle of your floral then stick on the drawstring knot.
