En Venezuela estamos en periodo de vacaciones, y eso significa para mí, tiempo libre, el cual estoy aprovechando para culminar proyectos personales, y comenzar unos nuevos, entre estos está renovar las sábanas de mi casa, que ya están bastante gastadas, así que este fué mi primer proyecto vacacional, me puse a elaborar sábanas esquineras para cama matrimonial e individual.
Compré varios cortes de tela unicolor y estampadas, siempre compro para ellos percaltex, pero en esta ocasión ví una tela llamada percalfina, que es un poco más económica pero de excelente calidad, así que hice una de cada una, y no esperé mucho, inmediatamente las lavé y las estrenamos! jejeje

I bought several cuts of unicolor and printed fabrics, I always buy percaltex for them, but this time I saw a fabric called percalfina, which is a little cheaper but of excellent quality, so I made one of each, and I didn't wait long, I immediately washed them and we used them for the first time! hehehe.
I tell you the step by step.
Para la cama de matrimonio 1,80cm de tejido percaltex estampado, y para la cama individual 1,30cm de tejido percalfina unicolor.

Lo primero que hacemos es cortar en cada esquina del corte de tela un cuadrado de 20cm x 20cm.
The first thing we do is to cut a square of 20cm x 20cm in each corner of the fabric cut.
Hacemos pespunte en cada corte uniendo para formar las esquinas de la sabana.
We stitch each cut together to form the corners of the sheet.
Ahora viene el engomada; en lo personal me gusta colocarle goma en todo alrededor, porque asi se sujeta mas a la cama; pero puedes colocar solo en las cuatro esquinas.
Con la saban por el lado reverso, comezamos a coser la elastica dejando 1cm en la parte superior para luego hacer un dobladillo.
Puedes utilizar pespunte o zig za para la elastica, lo importante es ir estirando la elástica e ir cosiendo.
Hacemos un dobladillo envolviendo la elástica, y pasamos costura nuevamente.
Now comes the gumming; personally I like to put elastic all around, because this way it holds more to the bed; but you can put it only in the four corners.
With the back side of the sheet, we start sewing the elastic leaving 1cm at the top and then make a hem.
You can use backstitch or zig zag stitch for the elastic, the important thing is to stretch the elastic and sew.
We make a hem by wrapping the elastic around it, and sew again.
Asi quedaron listas las sabanas esquineras engomadas completa.
