A solo 3 días para celebrar el día del padre, quiero compartirles una actividad escolar que realice con mi hijo menor, en la cual debían elaborar un regalo para papà con materiales de reciclaje; as, que, nos pusimos manos a la obra, y, con lo que teníamos en casa, elaboramos un hermoso dulcero con una botella plástica y trozos de foami!

With only 3 days to celebrate father's day, I want to share with you a school activity I did with my youngest son, in which they had to make a gift for dad with recycled materials; so, we got down to work, and with what we had at home, we made a beautiful candy box with a plastic bottle and pieces of foami!

Lo primero es, cortar la botella unos 12cm desde la parte superior (hasta la marca que ella trae).
First of all, cut the bottle about 12cm from the top (up to the mark on the bottle).
Para hacer la base del dulcero:
En un trozo de carton marcamos el tamaño de la botella, lo recortamos y lo forramos con foami.
Luego cortamos una tira de 2cm de grosor, y pegamos alrededor del circulo.

Then we cut a 2cm thick strip, and glue it around the circle.
Decorando la parte superior del dulcero:
En un foami de color diferente al utilizado en la base, recortamos una corbata, y la pegamos en el pico de la botella, y forramos la tapa con foami.
Luego con un tira de 4cm de grosor y 11cm de largo formo la camisa, y como un detalle le pego un botón y un bolsillo.
Decorating the top of the candy box:
In a different color foami than the one used in the base, we cut out a tie, and glue it on the spout of the bottle, and line the lid with foami.
Then with a strip of 4cm thick and 11cm long I form the shirt, and as a detail I glue a button and a pocket.
Finalmente pego en la base un cuadrado negro que sera la hebilla de la correa.
Finally I glue on the base a black square that will be the buckle of the strap.
Así, queda listo este hermoso dulcero, que puedes obsequiar a papa en su día!
This way, this beautiful candy box is ready, that you can give as a gift to dad on his day!
