Welcome back to my handmade new blog. It's Saturday, so what are you doing? Are you spending time with friends or family or what are you doing? I make some kind of handmade whenever I have free time, so I made a handmade one this Saturday. It's been a long time since I've talked about hair clips, so today I'm going to tell you how to make a hair clip.
For the hair clip I made today, I mainly used green matcha color and white ribbon. So the name of the hair clip I made today is matcha cookie hair clip. Below are the materials and methods I used.
💚Materials-💚
- ribbon
- claw clip
- scissors
- ruler
- glue gun
- needle and thread
Step-1
First, I cut the matcha green color ribbon into 24cm, 21cm and 2 inches. I cut the white color ribbon into 2 pieces of 14cm.
Step-2
In step-2, I made the ribbons as they are doing. I chose a ribbon and slightly touched the edges with fire. This is to make the ribbon neater. Then I folded the ribbon from the middle and touched it with a little fire. That is to make the middle point appear. I made all the remaining ribbons in the same way.
Step-3
I chose a ribbon and put the 2 ends over the center point and sewed them together with a needle. Then I pulled the thread tight and made a knot. I made all the ribbons in the same way.
Step-4
In step-4, I sewed the green color ribbon together and then sewed the white one together in the same way.
Then I placed the white ribbon on top and sewed the remaining 2 ribbons together.
Step-5
In step-5, I rolled the remaining 2 inches of ribbon and made a small knot. Then I attached that little knot to the middle of the ribbon.
Since the claw clip has 2 surfaces, make another ribbon tab as described above.
Step-6
In the last step, I glued all 2 ribbons to the claw clip. Above is the matcha cookie claw clip I took today. I'm trying to share better handmade ways. Thank you.
