Hi guys, it's another great day here. Today, I decided to go out with my team members, and we are to visit the palm oil production unit at our university to learn the process of palm oil making. It was the turn of me and my group members to go there because it was a turn-by-turn thing to avoid crowds, so we could learn very well.
When I got there, we were told by the manager that we would be doing a palm process before we left, so I was happy about that. First, I led my team, and we had to divide ourselves into 4 parts, which is, those that will remove the kernels from the bunch, those that will load it inside the hot water for it to be boiled for process, those that will be with the sorting machine and those that will be with the grinder that will squeeze palm oil out.
I was at each section to work so that the work would be very thorough, and we would get our results as soon as possible. The machine we were supposed to use to remove the palm kernel from the body was faulty, so we had to go through the manual process of using a cutlass to get the palm kernel out.
We have the hot pan with a high frequency of fire to boil the palm kernel so it would be soft to grind, and after grinding, we have the waste, which will generate the palm kernel seed, which can be used for baby oil, but we focus more on pal oil for today.
Finally, after we did the division of labor, we were able to get out our unprocessed palm oil, which, after extraction, will just go into a bit of fire for the palm to be ready for use. I shared a video about our work process and how we extracted the palm kernel from a lot of Palm kernels. Sit back and watch.
