Greetings to all friends of the #Diyhub creative community. Once again I share with you here, to show you the incense holder I made.
As you all know, we are in the most summer months of the year, here in Isla Margarita both tourists and islanders enjoy it as much as we can, there is nothing like enjoying the sun and the sea. Going to the beach is something I like to do, and if it's to watch the sunsets, even better; it's very cozy and inspiring. That's where I got the idea to create this dolphin shaped incense holder 🐬.
To make it, I used the following materials that I will mention to you below, and I will explain step by step how I did it:

Materials:
White sheet
Plaster band
Small anime ball
Acrylic paint
Skewer stick
Pencil
Scissors
Varnish
Water

Materiales:
Hoja blanca
Banda de yeso
Pelota pequeña de anime
Pintura acrílica
Palo de brocheta
Lápiz
Tijeras
Barniz
Agua

First, I painted on a sheet of paper the idea I had in mind about what my project would be like so as not to omit any details when putting the idea into practice.

Then, I cut four 25 cm strips of plaster to make the flat part of the incense holder and I had some left over to glue it to the anime ball that would be the dolphin head.

I wet the plaster strips and began to shape it with my hands, covering the anime ball well and shaping the plaster strips to achieve the dolphin's beak.

I continued wetting the plaster band and shaped the tail by arching it and cutting off the excess with the scissors. I reused it to make the fin on the back of what would be his head. I molded it to the desired shape. With the help of a skewer stick, I made the hole on top of the head, which would be where the incense goes. I waited for it to dry a little so that it would not deform.

Then, I painted the eyes, as you can see in the pictures.

Finally, I applied varnish to the entire incense holder.
