Drawing is an art for experiencing feelings and emotions, it says more than words to people that know the meaning.
When I was a kid, I used to be one of the best art students in my class and that gives me joy because I was so good at it.
I always said to myself, "At least I am good at something" because I wasn't that good at my studies in junior class so drawing was the only thing that give me joy because I was good at it back then.
But when I became an adult a lot changed because I have to fend for myself and that doesn't give me a chance to seat and practice what I love doing.
In this post, I will explain how I transformed an old diary into a new one.
Material used
Old cartoon
Old dairy
Scissors
Blue pen
Watercolor
Plain sheet (from the dairy)
Water (for mixing the colors)
Glue
Step 1
Cut one plain sheet from the dairy trim the edge thst shows where you cut it out, and make use of super glue to gum it on the front page of the dairy's cover.
The reason why I gum it before drawing on it is because I don't want the sheet to tear while drawing so the hardcover of the dairy will prevent it from tearing apart.
Step 2
Draw the shape of love on the old cartoon and the flower shape as well with a blue pen.
Then make use of scissors to cut out the shape because it is the part that was cut that will be used to draw on the plain sheet.
Step 3
Use the part that you cut out to draw the shape on the plain sheet. The reason why I did it like that is because I want a perfect shape and if I should draw it directly I might not get the perfect shape that I want.
Step 4
Then it's time to make use of watercolor, I couldn't find the brush and that was why I use my finger to paint it, it can't be perfect at once so I make use of the blue pen to make it perfect because I don't want all the colors to be showing at the edge of the drawing.
Step 5
I make use of the blue pen again to write dear dairy and give it a perfect font.
That is all I did to beautify my old dairy front page again to look new again.
Sometimes you don't have to throw your old items away because there are ways to rebrand them into a new look or turn them into something new just like I did to my old dairy front page.
Note: all the images belongs to me.
