Happy New Year to everyone here, I wish everyone a happy year all through. As we all know January is World Peace Day and the contest was to make a Diy peacecraft.
The world has been in so much chaos in different countries and if we all could promote peace I am sure there would be peace in every nation.
In my little way of promoting peace in my neighborhood, I made a peace logo and then placed it in the sitting room so that anyone who came to greet me would see it.
Material used are:
Carton
Super glue
Razor blade
Beads
Pen
Scissors
Plate
Procedure
I placed the plate on the carton, then made use of a pen to draw a perfect circle shape.
After that, I made use of scissors to cut the round shape out.
Now it is time to get into the main craft, the process wasn't that much and the material wasn't much either but the outcome was so beautiful.
I made use of different beads because I had this particular bead that reacted to reflection so I added a little bit of it so that even at night anyone could still see the peace craft where it was sitting.
I made use of super glue to glue the bead around the carton to form a round shape.
After that, I made use of a pen to draw a straight line between the circle and then glued some beads on the line.
I drew another line on each side of those beads in the middle and then glued some beads on the line as well.
The sign is well designed but I need to make it look like a peace sign very well so I made use of a razor blade to cut off the space between each line.
Now my peacecraft is ready to sit in the living room for everyone to see, I close the window and then off the light to capture the night view of the craft and this is what it looks like at night.
I hope you like it.
