For a very long time now, I had had this bread mold in my tool box. But for some unknown reason, I have always stayed away from it.
While I was tidying up my stuff after a long rotation in the hospital, I found some metallic clay and this. So,I decided to play with it.
Here is the mold and the "bread."
And here folks is one of the reasons I love this metal thing. I don't know what it's called but its used when you make these icing flowers. So, here is the beginning of my design. I do not know why I gravitate toward food and cute kawaii animals but, they make me happy.

First look.
And here is the complete glazing piece. A little side note: you can use powdered clay to add the "burnt" detail on your bread. For me, I used a brown/ black sharpie to get there. I cannot locate my pastels folks. So I have to improvise.
Close up.
And this is the reason why I loved this piece. Look at the bottom part.
