I am still spending more of my time reading books. Book related pieces.
I started by making a book. Its pretty much straightforward. Cut a clay, then choose whatever colour you wanted to be the "book cover."
Once I'm done making the "book," I started making the character. I dont know why I wanted a character popping out of the book. Here's how I started.
I decided to use black clay to make the expression rather than using inks, pens, drawings/ paintings. I just feel that that would make it more organic.

And here is the finished product. I used nail polish to glaze it. Yeah while its really awesome to use it but then, when its not really fully dried, it tends to clump pieces together.
