I was wandering through Pinterest when I came across some Cute crochet scarfs and I decided to make mine. This was my first attempt in making these and it took me less than 2 hours to finish everything because it was an easy and simple pattern.
I used a 40g yarn in making the scarf, I had to double it because the thread was too thin and it came out perfect. I used a 3.5mm crochet hook.
I was just too focused, I forgot to measure it on my head so it's a little bit bigger than the actual size I wanted which was 18rows but I did 21rows, yeah The difference is quite much, but it's still okay, I might probably adjust it some other time.
After I finished crocheting, I decided to just make the complete set because why not 😆.
I made an Earring and a Scrunchie, which turned out pretty well. This is something I can wear and just hang out with friends, and it's also something I can buy with my money because it's very cute.
I couldn't find the long earring hook so I had to improvise. I used my earrings and some Hair rings for the hook, and it worked out if you ask me, tho the actual hook would've been better.
I used that same hair ring and attached it to the Scrunchie to make it look less plain which it did.
From afar someone might think I'm wearing some very expensive jewelry, lol just kidding, but really, it was cute.
Here is a picture of me rocking my piece😉, it's pretty isn't it😁
For the Scrunchie, I used two rubber bands and slip stitch around it first.
Step 2
Ch3, 3DC, Sl St into the next two St and while on the second, CH3, 3DC, and just repeat the same pattern until you've gone around it and you're done.
Quick and easy.
For the Earring, it's still the same pattern as the Scrunchie, but this time make a magic ring with the color you want in the middle, 10 Sl St, and pull. Fasten off and cut off the yarn. Attach the other color of yarn and repeat the same pattern as the scrunchie. Make sure you have 5petals. At the end you'll have two stitches left, Sl St into both and don't pull out, then Sl St into the first flower and pull through 3loops and fasten off and you're done
For the head scarf chain 5, 3Dc into the first stitch you made, chain 1, into that same spac3DC, chain 2, 3Dc, and chain 1 and 1DC turn your work.
Chain 5, 3Dc into the first space, chain 1, 3Dc into the next space. Repeat the same pattern until you get to the middle of the third row. In the middle,
3Dc ch 2, in that same space, 3Dc and ch 1, then continue as usual. The only change is in the middle.
Repeat the pattern till you get your desired fit. Once you're done chain 40 or more for your straps, the Sl St backward and into every space in the front 3Sl St until you get to the other end to make your other strap.
And you're done.
