Hi guys! Happy Monday, I hope you all had a great day today.

I made a super cute Crochet water bottle holder. As you can see from the image, this bottle holder has two different faces. I know you thought I made two different holders, but Nope, it's just one water bottle holder with two different personalities hahaha. I made a Cat and a Bear, which is super cute.

This type of bottle holder I made isn't for all types of bottles. It's for those types of bottles that are shaped like the letter V. Or should I say those water bottles that have a smaller bottom and a bigger top?

Reason: It expands easily, so even when it expands, the upper part is still wide enough for it, so it doesn't slip off no matter what.

You can still make this bottle holder for a normal-shaped bottle, but just know it will slip off once it expands even a little.

The pattern I used for this water bottle holder is very basic and simple. It doesn't require much yarn and also takes less than 2 hours of your time to complete.

Materials used

  • Pink, blue, black, and white yarn.
  • 3.5mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Darning needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Tape

Step 1
I Measured the middle part of my bottle. Made a chain, and I made sure the chain was the same measurement as my water bottle.

Step 2
Once I got my desired length, I joined the two ends together and chained them I then made a single crochet into the same stitch.
I used my stitch marker to mark this point, so I would know where to end my row.
I repeated his same pattern until I got my desired length.

Step 3
Once I got to the end of the row, I made a chain for the strap. ( you can chain as long as you want). I attached the strap to the other end.
After attaching it, I made a slip stitch into the next two stitches.

Still again for the strap, I made my way through the strap with an HDC. Once I got to the other end of the strap, I slipped stitch in the next 2 loops and cut my yarn.

Step 4
For the ears, I skipped 3 stitches away from the strap and joined my yarn.
After joining, chain 1, skip two stitches and on the third loop, make 3 double crochet into the same loop, chain 2 and into that same loop you made the 3 double crochet, make another 3 double crochet into the same loop. Once you're done, skip 1 loop slip stitch into the second loop, and secure and cut off your yarn.

Step 5
For the eyes, ears, and mouth I used a darning needle to design them.

For the bear's mouth, I made a magic ring, and into the magic ring, I chained a 7slip stitch into it and pulled. For the black part in the middle of the mouth, I used my needle to sew the black yarn in. And I attached it to the holder.

And voila your water bottle holder is ready. I bet you'd agree with me that it's a very simple pattern.

I wanted to make just one color, but my yarn got exhausted, that's why I mixed blue and pink, but it came out very cute.
