Hello hive, today am going to share with you how I bake these yummy and fluffy coconut cake for my beautiful cousin who added a year older today,today clocks her third birthday.
Firstly I will like to share with you about my baking skills, baking is actually my love language because I love baking with love and passion. I used to feel these happiness in me whenever am baking.
Recipe for my coconut cake
Flour 300 grams
Butter _ 350 grams
Sugar _ 150 grams
Eggs _ 7
Baking powder 1teaspon
Flavour coconut 1teaspon
Preservatives cutter teaspoon
Milk _ 1/3 cups
Dessicated coconut_ 50 grams
How to bake
Firstly you place a very neat bowl on your scale, then measure your sugar and butter and flavour then cream until it becomes fluffy
Then in another separate bowl you have your eggs broken then whisk it until it becomes foamy
In another separate bowl again you measure your flour, baking powder and preservatives, all the dry ingredients will be in one place
I also measured my dessicated coconut in a separate plastic rubber before I mix altogether
After my ingredients are well measure then I go straight to mix them together, in a bowl where I have my butter sugar and flavor mix then I added my eggs mix gently, then follow by my dry ingredients and gently until it is well mix, in the process mixing make sure you don't over mix your cake, after it is well mix then I grease my cake pan and divide it into the cake pan and sprinkles my dessicated coconut on it
Baking was done for about 30 to 40 minutes depending on the temperature of your oven
I was very happy my coconut cake came out very soft yummy and fluffy, in my next post I will show you all how I decorated my cake with butter cream
