Hello creative hiver ,

It’s been a while I post my work in diy community, I’m a strong and heavy so to cut fabrics has not be easy for me .

But today I want to share with you how I change the net sleeve of a gown, my customer is not comfortable with the previous sleeves that was made with net because it torn always and she keeping amending and it out of shape .

I recreated another sleeve for her very easy and simple .

She bought half trouser of crepe materials , I will love to show you all the cutting and sewing step of this sleeve.

I folded the material into 4 and I measure 18” length and 4” depth to get the armhole curve and the width is 16” wide enough to gather it with elastic.

After cutting I weave the edge of the sleeve round to give it a neat finishing inside the I join it to the gown and it came out simple and beautiful 😍.
