Today I will like to share with you all how I made this beautiful ruffle gown for my kid sister who is graduating from junior class , and they chose this material for all the graduating student so that they will be on uniform and the graduation ceremony is coming up on Saturday ,I hope u will all find this tutorial helpful.
Cutting and sewing step
I firstly folded the material into four and I measure the shoulder measurement to be 8” then the burst is 10” folded and the hip is 10” Every measurement is + sewing allowance.
After cutting the front piece I use the front to cut the back then the down part of the gown is slanted with 4” .
After cutting The main bodices I folded 18” width and long enough to make ruffles for the down part.
Sleeve
I measure 12” for the sleeve length then 10”for the width and I insert elastic at the edge to puff the sleeve.
Sewing step
Finishing
After joining all the bodices together I iron it and it came out beautiful when she try it on , I hope you all like this styles I will appreciate your friendly comments and support.
