Hello friends! This is the first time I write a post for this creative community, today I want to show you how to make beautiful paper roses, the process is very, very simple and I will explain you the procedure step by step, join me!
¡Hola amigos! Es la primera vez que escribo un post para esta creativa comunidad, el día de hoy quiero enseñarles a elaborar unas hermosas rosas de papel, el proceso es muy pero muy sencillo y les explicaré el procedimiento paso a paso. ¡Acompáñenme!
Materiales
Materials
You will need paper, white glue, paints, blush (optional), brush and scissors.
Necesitarás papel, pegamento blanco, pinturas, rubor (opcional) Pincel y una tijera.
Now cut out three squares of 9 cm x 9 cm each.
Ahora recorta tres cuadrados de 9 cm x 9 cm cada uno.

Then take one of the pieces of paper and fold it from one corner to the other to form a large triangle and fold it again to form a smaller triangle as shown in the following pictures.
Posteriormente toma una de las piezas de papel y dóblala de una esquina a la otra hasta formar un triángulo grande y vuelve a doblar para formar un triángulo más pequeño como te muestro en las siguientes imágenes.
Fold once more until you get an even smaller triangle (in total you will have to fold 3 times). Then trace the drawing of a petal as you can see in image 7, starting from the side of the paper that doesn't open to the part where it does, then cut out the figure and unfold the sheet, in this way you will have obtained the first petals of your rose. Do the same procedure with the other two remaining pieces of paper.
Dobla una vez más hasta obtener un triángulo aún más pequeño (en total deberás doblar 3 veces) Luego traza el dibujo de un pétalo como observas en la imagen 7, hazlo partiendo desde el lado del papel que no se abre hasta la parte en que sí lo hace, posteriormente recorta la figura y despliega la hoja, de esta manera habrás obtenido los primeros pétalos de tu rosa. Haz el mismo procedimiento con las otras dos piezas de papel restantes.

Now cut out a single petal from the first piece, then cut out two petals from the second piece and finally cut out three petals from the third piece.
Ahora recorta un solo pétalo de la primera pieza, luego recorta dos pétalos de la segunda y finalmente recorta tres pétalos de la tercera pieza.
Now it's time to paint the pieces, do it with the colour of your choice. I wanted to paint them pink but as I didn't have that colour I had to create it by mixing a bit of red with a bit of white.
Llegó el momento de pintar las piezas, hazlo con el color de tu preferencia. Yo quise pintarlas de color rosa pero como no tenía ese color tuve que crearlo mezclando un poco de color rojo con un poco de blanco.
If you want you can also colour the petals using make-up blusher and it gives a beautiful and natural look, but for this occasion I decided to use paint.
Si quieres también puedes darle color a los pétalos usando el rubor de maquillaje y le da una apariencia hermosa y natural, pero para esta ocasión decidí usar pintura.
After painting the pieces become a bit stiff and it's necessary to give them some movement, for that we must bend the petals again following the lines that are already marked, and then curl the top of the petals using a wooden stick, even the brush if it's thin enough.
Luego de la pintura las piezas se vuelven un poco rígidas y es necesario darles un poco de movimiento, para eso debemos volver a doblar los pétalos siguiendo las líneas que ya están marcadas, y luego riza la parte superior de los pétalos usando un palo de madera, incluso puede ser el pincel si es lo suficientemente delgado.
Now take the piece that is missing a petal, put some soft glue on it and join the two ends together, putting one petal on top of the other.
Ahora toma la pieza a la que le falta un pétalo, ponle un poco de pegamento blando y une los dos extremos, poniendo un pétalo sobre el otro.
Se verá de esta forma.
It will look like this.
Do the same with all the pieces, even the smaller ones, i.e. the petal we cut, the two-petal piece and the three-petal piece.
Haz lo mismo con todas las piezas, incluso con las más pequeñas, es decir, el pétalo que cortamos, la pieza de dos pétalos y la trés pétalos.
Take the largest piece, which should have six petals, and put some white glue on the bottom.
Toma la pieza más grande que deberá tener seis pétalos y ponle un poco de pegamento blanco en el fondo.
Now glue the smallest piece, the one with five petals, asymmetrically, i.e. the petals should not be exactly on top of each other, so that the rose gets volume.
Ahora pega la pieza más pequeña, la de cinco pétalos, hazlo de forma asimétrica, es decir que los pétalos no coincidan unos exactamente encima de los otros, de esta forma la rosa obtendrá volumen.
Do the same with the other smaller pieces until you glue the last one to which you will have to cut the tip a bit so that it doesn't stick out. It will look like this.
Haz lo mismo con las demás piezas más pequeñas hasta pegar la última a la cual deberás recortarle un poco la punta para que no sobresalga. Se verá de esta forma.
It looks beautiful but this flower will need a stem, to make it, you will need a piece of paper 13 cm long by 6 cm wide that you roll up as you can see in the picture, and when you get to the end, you put some glue to fix it.
Se ve hermosa pero esta flor necesitará un tallo, para elaborarlo, necesitarás una pieza de papel de 13 cm de largo por 6 cm de ancho que debes enrollar como puedes ver en la fotografía, y al llegar a la punta, le pones un poco de pegamento para fijarlo.
Paint it green and cut one end in this way to make it easier to glue to the flower.
Pintarlo de verde y corta uno de los extremos de esta manera para que se más sencillo pegar a la flor.
Put glue on the base of the flower and glue the stem.
Pon pegamento en la base de la flor y pega el tallo.
To make the leaves that go on the top fold a small piece of paper, draw a leaf imitating the shape of the real roses, cut the piece, make some details with the scissors making some picks to give it more realism and paint it green.
Para hacer las hojas que van en la parte de arriba dobla un pequeño pedazo de papel, dibuja una hoja imitando la forma de las que tienen las rosas verdaderas, corta la pieza, hazle algunos detalles con la tijera haciendo algunos piquetes para darle más realismo y píntala de verde.

Glue the leaves to the base of the rose and curl them with the help of a wooden stick to give it a more realistic appearance.
Pega las hojas a la base de la rosa y rízalas con ayuda de un palillo de madera para darle una apariencia más realista.
Now we are going to make the stem and the lower leaf to finish the details. Fold a small piece of paper and like last time draw the shape of a leaf but a bit thicker, then cut out the piece, make the details with the scissors and paint.
Ahora vamos a hacer el tallo y la hoja inferior para ultimar los detalles. Dobla un pequeño pedazo de papel y al igual que la vez anterior dibuja la forma de una hoja pero un poco más gruesa, luego recorta la pieza, haz los detalles con la tijera y pinta.

For the stem cut a piece of paper 6 cm long by 2 cm wide, roll it up, glue it down and paint it.
Para el tallo corta una pieza de papel de 6 cm de largo por 2 cm de ancho, enrrollála, fíjala con pegamento y píntala.
Glue the stem to the leaf in this way.
Pega el tallo a la hoja de esta forma.
Make a transverse cut.
Has un corte trasversal.
Now glue it to the main stem.
Y ahora pégalo al tallo principal.
This is the result.
Éste es el resultado.
You can make as many roses as you like and give them as a Mother's Day gift, you can even make a bouquet.
Puedes hacer tantas rosas como quieras y regalarlas el día de la madre, incluso puedes hacer un bouquet.
In a future post I will show you how to make this other type of roses with a different but also very easy method.
En un próximo post te enseñaré a hacer este otro tipo de rosas con un método distinto pero también muy fácil.
This one I painted using make-up blusher. I made it with the same method that I will explain to you next time.
