Hellooooo, hellooooo! Greetings to all. Very happy to be able to participate in the 5th. Contest by DiyHub. The Marine world is immense and the lives that can be found in it are innumerable. Every day I am surprised when I see in the documentaries the species that exist in the water and without counting those that are found in the depths where man has not yet been able to access. Countless studies have shown that this world urgently requires protection, because it is we human beings who are causing great damage to these species with the high level of contamination and also with the extinction of many of these species. It is for this reason that my publication is directed in a great way to safeguard these species through recycling. Large tons of waste are thrown into the sea, causing death and pollution. We must avoid at all costs that this continues to happen.
Venezuela is a country that has access to the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and in environmental and cultural matters we do not have ecological education. Although they have tried to implement waste classification on many occasions, this has not yet been possible because we do not have exclusive places for the disposal of this waste, that is, these projects have completely failed. However, at home, I have tried to implement this waste classification and recycling, although it is also a task that requires everyone's participation if we want to do something for our environment. That is why I try to reuse much of the waste we generate.
For this contest I have used a tile that I had saved for a long time and I wanted to make a landscape reflecting a beach, with a sailboat made with cardboard and shells of different dead mollusks that my daughter brought from the beaches of the Anzoátequi State. I hope you like it. Without further ado, let's get started.
BIENVENIDOS A MI BLOG
¡Holaaaa, holaaaaa! Saludos a todos. Muy contenta de poder participar en el 5to. Concurso de DiyHub. El mundo Marino es inmenso y las vidas que se pueden encontrar en él es innumerable. Cada día me sorprendo cuando veo en los documentales las especies que existen dentro del agua y sin contar aquellas que se encuentran en las profundidades donde aún no ha podido accesar el hombre. Infinidades de estudios han demostrado que este mundo requiere con urgencia protección, porque somos nosotros los seres humanos, quienes les estamos ocasionando un gran daño a estas especies con el alto nivel de contaminación y también con la extinción de muchas de esas especies. Es por este motivo que mi publicación está dirigida de gran forma a salvaguardar estas especies a través del reciclaje. Grandes toneladas de desechos son lanzadas al mar, ocasionando muerte y contaminación. Debemos evitar a toda costa que esto siga sucediendo.
Venezuela es un país que tiene acceso al Mar Caribe y al Oceáno Atlántico y en materia ambiental y cultural no poseemos educación ecológica. Aunque se han tratado de implementar en muchas ocasiones la clasificación de desechos, ésto aun no se ha podido llevar a cabo debido a que no contamos con lugares exclusivos para la eliminación de estos desechos, es decir, estos proyectos han fracasado en su totalidad. Sin embargo, en casa, he tratado de implementar esta clasificación de desechos y a su vez el del reciclaje, aunque también es una tarea que requiere de la participación de todos si queremos lograr hacer algo por nuestro ambiente. Es por ello, que trato de reutilizar muchos de los desechos que generamos.
Para este concurso he utilizado una teja que tenía desde hace mucho guardada y quise realizar un paisaje reflejando una playa, con un velero realizado con cartón y conchas de diferentes moluscos muertos que mi hija trajo de las playas del Estado Anzoátequi. Espero que te guste. Sin más, comencemos.

STEP BY STEP // PASO A PASO
SAILBOAT
We will begin by making the sailboat. We draw on the cardboard the figure of the sailboat.
VELERO
Comenzaremos realizando el velero. Dibujamos en el cartón la figura del velero.
With the scissors we cut out the three pieces that make up the sailboat. Then with the height toothpick we will make some perforations at the ends of each piece that will serve to link the pieces later.
Con la tijera recortamos las tres piezas que forman el velero. Luego con el palillo de altura realizaremos unas perforaciones en los extremos de cada pieza que nos servirá para enlazar luego las piezas.
What we will do now is seal the holes in the cardboard so that it is easier for us to paint evenly. We will use the silicone gun to fill and with the same tip of the gun we flatten and smooth.
Lo que haremos ahora será sellar los huecos del cartón para que se nos facilite pintar uniformemente. Utilizaremos la pistola de silicón para rellenar y con la misma punta de la pistola aplanamos y alisamos.
We painted the three pieces with white paint to create a background. We do two or three layers, depending on how dark it is. We let dry.
Pintamos las tres piezas con pintura blanca para crear fondo. Realizamos dos o tres capas, dependiendo de qué tan oscuro quede. Dejamos secar.
Then we go over the pieces with cold paint to give the color more intonation.
Luego repasamos las pieza con pintura al frío para darle mayor entonación al color.
We take one of the pieces of the sailboat and make three lines to divide it into three equal parts. Then we paint with the colors of the Venezuelan flag, yellow, blue and red.
Tomamos una de las piezas del velero y realizamos tres lineas para dividir en tres partes iguales. Luego pintamos con los colores de la bandera de Venezuela, amarillo, azul y rojo.
We paint the boat with black, three quarters of it, and in the upper part we make 3 circles and short lines horizontally.
Pintamos la barca con negro, tres cuartas partes de ella, y en la parte superior realizamos 3 círculos y líneas cortas horizontalmente.
In the other sailboat we will only make three circles in yellow, blue and red tones using the cotton swab that we will introduce into the paint and then press on the sailboat until we form the circles of the desired size.
En el otro velero sólo realizaremos tres círculos en tonos amarillo, azul y rojo utilizando el hisopo que introduciremos en la pintura y luego presionamos en el velero hasta formar los círculos del tamaño deseado.
For the rope, we paint the wick thread in a brown tone and let it dry.
Para la cabuya, mecate, soga o como quiera que lo conozcas, pintamos el hilo pabilo en tono marrón y dejamos secar.
And for the neck, we paint the height stick also brown.
Y para el mástil, pintamos el palillo de altura también de color marrón.
Once we have all the pieces of the sailboat whistled and dry, we proceed to assemble it. We introduce the wick already painted by the first sailboat and we tie it to the raft, we make a knot at the back.
Una vez que tenemos todas las piezas del velero pitadas y secas, procedemos a armarlo. Introducimos el pabilo ya pintado por el primer velero y lo enlazamos a la balsa, realizamos un nudo por la parte trasera.
Then with the silicone gun we fix the mast that is parallel to the first sailboat. We introduce the wick through the other hole of the sailboat and fix it on the mast.
In the same way we do with the other sailboat. always holding first the raft and then the mast. Until forming the sailboat.
Luego con la pistola de silicón fijamos es mástil que quede en paralelo al primer velero. Introducimos el pabilo por el otro agujero del velero y fijamos en el mástil.
De la misma manera realizamos con el otro velero. siempre sujetando primero de la balsa y luego del mástil. Hasta formar el velero.
LANDSCAPE IN TILE
To paint on the tile, I first washed and eliminated the dust that it had from the time saved. Once dry, I anchored with white paint. I did two coats of paint. I let dry.
PAISAJE EN TEJA
Para pintar en la teja primeramente lavé y eliminé el polvo que tenía por el tiempo guardado. Una vez seca, fondeé con pintura blanca. Realicé dos capas de pintura. Dejé secar.
Once dry, with ocean blue paint I painted 3/4 of the tile, making two coats.
Una vez seca, con pintura azul océano pinté 3/4 parte de la teja, realizando dos capas.
The rest of the tile is painted with brown paint. We give two coats of paint.
El resto de la teja la pintamos con pintura marrón. Damos dos capas de pintura.
Once the brown paint is dry, with a toothbrush and cold vanilla paint, we splash over the brown paint until we cover a large part of this area to resemble sand.
Una vez seca la pintura marrón, con un cepillo dental y pintura al frío color vainilla, salpicamos sobre la pintura marrón hasta cubrir gran parte de esta zona para asemejar a la arena.
Then with an angular brush we lightly stain with white paint and make small brush strokes to form streaks of clouds in the sky.
Luego con un pincel angular manchamos ligeramente con pintura blanca y realizamos pequeñas pinceladas para formar rayones de nubes en el cielo.
With a piece of sponge and white paint we form the clouds.
Con un trozo de esponja y pintura blanca formamos las nubes.
To form the waves, we use white paint and the angled brush and we make strokes for the rest of the tile painted in blue and then with intense blue paint we shade the waves that we trace with white.
Para formar las olas, utilizamos pintura blanca y el pincel angular y realizamos trazos por el resto de la teja pintada de azul y luego con pintura azul intenso sombreamos las olas que trazamos con blanco.
In the lower part of the tile, which we painted vanilla, we add a moderate layer of silicone and we will place the pieces of broken shells and then the shells that we have whole, until this area is covered.
En la parte inferior de la teja, que pintamos de vainilla, agregamos una capa moderada de silicón e iremos colocando los trozos de conchas partidos y luego las conchas que tenemos enteras, hasta cubrir esta zona.
And to give the landscape more life, we will paint some silhouettes of birds using the black paint and the liner brush.
Y para darle más vida al paisaje, pintaremos unas siluetas de aves utilizando la pintura negra y el pincel liner.
When we already have the landscape painted and dry, we place the sailboat and glue it to the tile with the silicone gun.
Cuando ya tenemos el paisaje pintado y seco, colocamos el velero y lo pegamos a la teja con la pistola de silicón.
And to culminate, with the rest of the wick thread, we make the hanger.
Y para culminar, con el resto del hilo pabilo, realizamos el colgadero.
