Una Nueva Mamá Osa
Queridos amigos de DIYHub, un cordial saludo, vengo con una propuesta muy especial para mí, el mes pasado el 15 de julio se celebró el día del Niño en nuestro país, y es un día muy especial porque ese día buscamos de consentirlos mucho más, El ente gubernamental, para ese día programó muchos actos en homenaje a ellos, en los parques y plazas, la familia los llevo para que disfrutaran y participaran en todos los eventos que se realizaron.
All this is relevant because a few days ago my little Sofia visited me with her mom, and while we were talking and having a coffee, my niece told me what a great time she had. She asked me if I had a gift for her for Children's Day, because she wanted a mama bear, since she had lost the one she had and misplaced it and misses it very much. A little embarrassed, I told her that I had forgotten, but I promised to give her a gift.
Todo esto viene al caso porque hace algunos días me visito mi pequeña Sofia, con su mamá, y mientras que conversábamos y tomábamos un café, mi sobrina, me contó qué la paso muy bien, ella, me pregunta que sí le tenía el regalo del día del niño, porque ella quería una mamá osa, ya que la que tenía la había extraviado y la extraña mucho. Yo un poco apenada, le dije que lo había olvidado, pero me comprometía a darle algún obsequio.
Then told me that what she wanted was her mama bear, and if I could make it for her, she explained to me what it looked like, what she was wearing and some other details. Her mother explained to me that it was a rag doll and that she liked it because she could wash it every time she got it dirty. Since the girl wouldn't let go of her doll for anything, I had no choice but to promise to make her one, more or less with the details that I had been given, and that's how I settled my account. In our family we always used to give our children rag dolls, a very traditional gift.
Luego me dice que lo que quería era su mamá osa, que, si yo se la podía hacer, entonces me explicó cómo era, qué llevaba puesto y algunos otros detalles. Su mamá me explica que era un muñeco hecho de trapo y que le gustaba porque ella se la podía lavar, cada vez que la ensuciaba. Ya que la niña no soltaba su muñeca para nada, no me quedó otra que prometerle que le iba a hacer una, más o menos con los detalles que me habían dado y así saldó mi cuenta. En la familia siempre acostumbramos a regalarle a nuestros niños muñecos de trapo, un regalo muy tradicional.

Es por ello, que con esa promesa que hice, les traigo esta intención; para la actividad, vamos a utilizar material reciclado.

Procedure:
First: we take the mold, it can be from the internet, or take it from our imagination and draw it freehand, in this case I have a stuffed animal that belonged to my son and I took the mold from there. We enlarge it according to the size we want the stuffed animal or doll. Important: wash the fabric very well, so that there are no germs. Remember that it will be handled by a child and the fabric is recycled.
Procedimiento:
Primero: sacamos el molde, puede ser de internet, o sacarlo de nuestra imaginación y dibujándolo a mano alzada, en este caso tengo un peluche que era de mi hijo y saqué el molde por ahí. Lo agrandamos según el tamaño que queramos el peluche o muñeco. Importante: lavamos la tela muy bien, para que no tengan gérmenes. Acuérdense que lo va a manipular un niño y la tela es reciclada.
Second: Once the pattern is drawn, we proceed to draw it on the fabric, adding a centimeter for the seam. For the ears, we cut two small pieces of fabric of a different color to make them stand out.
Segundo: Una vez sacado el patrón procedemos a dibujarlo en la tela, agregándole un centímetro para la costura. Para las orejas cortamos, dos telitas de otro color para que sobresalgan.
Third: We proceed to cut it, and then we sew it all around, leaving an opening to be able to fill it. We iron it to remove sharp edges and eliminate bacteria. Once we finish sewing, we turn it over and start stuffing. You can use cotton, pica ditas fabrics, in this case I had anime beads.
Tercero: Procedemos a cortarlo, y luego lo cosemos por todo el contorno, dejando una abertura para poder rellenar. Lo planchamos para sacar filos y eliminar bacterias. Una vez que terminemos la costura, volteamos y comenzamos a rellenar. Pueden utilizar algodón, telas pica ditas, en este caso yo tenía perlitas de anime.
Fourth: to make the dress, we transform the pattern and draw on it, the dress, then we transfer it to another sheet and add a centimeter to all its contour, so that it fits loosely.
Cuarto: para hacer el vestido, transformamos el patrón y dibujamos en él, el vestido, luego lo pasamos a otra hoja y le añadimos un centímetro a todo su contorno, de manera que le quede holgado.
We do the same procedure as above, place it on the fabric, add another centimeter for the seam and cut the front part. For the back we make a hem in the middle of the fabric and place as a model the front part and cut. See images.
Hacemos el mismo procedimiento anterior, lo colocamos en la tela, agregamos otro centímetro para la costura y cortamos la parte delantera. Para la parte trasera hacemos un dobladillo en el medio de la tela y colocamos como modelo la parte delantera y cortamos. Ver imágenes.
Now we have the two parts, we make some picks and sew the neck of the front part, to cut the back part and we make a double of the neck and the opening, see images, we also make a hem on the sleeves and around the dress. Finally, we sew all the sides of the dress.
Ya tenemos las dos partes, le hacemos unos piquetes y cosemos el cuello de la parte delantera, para cortar la parte trasera y hacemos un doble del cuello y de la abertura, ver imágenes, también hacemos ruedo en las mangas y alrededor del vestido. Finalmente, cosemos todos sus lados.
We put the dress on her to see if it fit her, or if it has some details that can be fixed. I made it for her, without a lot of lace details, and ribbons, so that it is easier to manipulate and can be washed easily.
Le colocamos el vestido de manera de ver si le quedó bien, o presenta algunos detalles que se puedan arreglar. Se lo hice, sin muchos detalles de encaje, y cintas, de manera que sea más fácil de manipularlo y se pueda lavar con facilidad.
For the eyes, I bordered them with thread, then I did the same with the nose and mouth.
Para los ojos, los borde con hilo, seguidamente hice lo mismo con la nariz y boca.
