Hello everyone!
Today , I bring to you a sweet gift box I made for my junior brother who is just 1 year old. That's actually a butter mint candy, for those who might not really be familiar with candies.
I bought him buttermints because I felt it had the yellow colour which is the same colour of my gift box and I felt that would really be enticing and make him appreciate it even more.
Equipments used
. Scissors ✂️
. Top gum
. Ruler 📏
. Cardboard papers (White and yellow)
Steps taken
Use your ruler to measure length and width of 21 cm and make use of your scissors to cut out your measurement from your cardboard. After cutting out fold each of the two sides until they form the X and O game shape.
Now, cut out the middle of the upper and lower part of the cardboard , apply your gum in the numbered part and join them to the cut out middle part according to the way I numbered them , do that appropriately. You will get your box after completing that.
The next step is to cut out your white cardboard paper or whichever colour you prefer and fold them from each sides by 3 cm.
Once you have done that, cut the part of the paper as I did mine , put gum on them and merge them to the back of the dotted points in my photo, which is the back of the paper. This will get you the cover of your box.
Now, go back to the colour you used for making your box and cut out a length of 14cm and width of 1.1cm twice. Put Gum on the cut out cardboard and place them on the cover as I did mine.
The next thing to do is to follow these steps. Use your scissors to cut out the marked part in step 4 to arrive at the fifth part.
Gum the number 5 to each other slightly at the dotted part and bend the left out part to meet at the middle. Follow the steps here as well.
Cut out 3cm and 7cm and do the next steps.
Once you have done that put a gum at the middle of your box cover and join the results just like this.
The next thing i did was to add a blue sliced paper I found in another gift box and added my candies to the box.
Finally,my candy box was ready.
Thanks for staying with me to the end.
