Hello Y'all!

Today was my second day of apprenticeship work. I was able to reach the Electronic shop at exactly 3:45 pm after we had closed from school. As I told you earlier, this my time schedule I have arranged with my Master when school is in session. The kids in school need my services as learning this electronic work is also important for me.

Back to work, today there were little work at the shop. Repair of iron, blender and fan. Though there was electricity power shortage due to some little fault in the place my Master tapped the power source. All the same, whether electricity or no electricity repair work must go on.

Tools used for the repair works

1• screw drivers

2• Tester metre

I and my Master began with repairing the electric Iron someone brought. While watching, my Master opened the internal parts by losing the bolt & knots with the screw.

Oh, we saw that the temperature control or regulator has damaged. This comes with a short metal bar. We removed it and fixed it with new one. We again checked the wires at the back of the iron where it's connected with the conducting pins. There were some disconnections. We removed all the damaged and weak wired and fixed them with new ones. We used the metre tester to test whether the iron is functioning. When we tested everything was now working normal. Even though we couldn't use the electricity to test for the heating capacity. But there was a some noise that was felt on the tester metre for you to know that it's surely working.

We closed it and began to repaire another device.

Repairs of electric fan

Our second repairs was the fan. We removed the rubber case covering the engine by losing the bolt. We touched on the capacitor, stator, bush bearing, crank lever, link fixing screw, pivot pin, spindle and wire guard among these are the critical points which are likely to damage.

In fact there was discharging of the capacitor producing the magnetic flux charge. So the power to spin the fan was very low. This led the fan to stop functioning. The capacitor determines the speed of your fan and when functioning well, it doubles the speed.

We fixed the new capacitor and other few things in the fan for it to begin functioning normal. The fact is that some of the parts sold in the market currently are inferior. So if the original used in the fan got damaged and you don't send to a qualified repairer they can buy inferior parts and fix. This wouldn't help the fan to operate normal.

Repairs of blender

The repairs on this blender was just a minor. When the owner brought it, we asked of the problem she felt and she said she smell some scent coming from the iron.

When we opened the internal part, we saw that the fuse has been blown. This was due to irregular power supply from the main electricity which has caused this. Sometimes there would high current if they switch on the electricity. Sometimes too, the supply of current would be very low to power your gadget. All these affect the machine.

We quickly removed the fuse and fixed a new fuse. It was function normal. That was the major problem of the blender since the blade, drive stud and the regulator was working normal.

These were few repairs I engaged my self for my apprenticeship electronic work. Thanks for your attention.
