Hi Hiveians! Today I'd like to show you how to make a stretchy and stylish bracelet whether for yourself, friends and/or family at home!
This will be a simple step-by-step guide for anyone to follow and I'll add it in pictures and text so whatever is easier for you to understand, it's here! 😀
Materials:
A beautiful bracelet, less materials! All we'll use is:
Pearls
Rubber bands
A crochet hook/needle for sealing and...
Love, of course!
If you want, you can use sticks, chopsticks or two pencils since we are going to use our two fingers to make it and hold the rubber bands, so it could be an alternative to that.
First, put a rubber band through each pearl your going to use. I like to make bracelets the size of a small kids' wrist since it can stretch to any other size.
I wanted to sort the pearls from dark to light colors and made the rubber bands totally random. 😊
Put the very first rubber band on your fingers crossed as the rubber band above with the pearl isn't.
PEACE
I drew over the rubber bands with a thicker line in the image editor so it is easier to see.
Next, take one side of the crossed rubber band and pull it over the one with the pearl and do the same with the other side of the crossed band.
Then, you can take the next pearled rubber band and put it on top, again, take one side of the lower one and pull it on top, same with the other side. Repeat this process until the bracelet starts gaining shape.
After a little, it starts to look like this:
Duuuuude, trippy! 😄
I continued until the bracelet started to fit my wrist and I liked it. Now it's time to seal it!
Put both ends on the crochet hook and put the rubber band on the hook as shown so that both ends can slide onto it.
When that band is on the hook, there will be two sides. Take the one behind the one facing the hook and pull it over the hook to be with the bracelet as shown. As a so called "girth hitch knot".
Tada!
Thank you for viewing my post, I hope it helped you and that you enjoyed it. Enjoy the rest of your day!
