🎄 First Diamond Painting Canvas/Primer lienzo de Pintura de Diamante 🎄 [ENG-ESP]

Greetings, creative people of #DIYHUB, today I bring you this painting made with the technique "Diamond Painting". I had just been paid, and I went to a store to buy food and other things, because I was in the "craft area", which is the area where the cards, markers, agendas, etc. are located.

And in one of those I noticed this figure, it caught my attention because it had many diamonds and of various colors, at that moment I thought that maybe it was not worth it and I did not buy it, I bought other things except that.

I talked to my mom, and a few days later she decided to go out to buy more food, so I asked her to buy me that "Diamond Painting", my mom did not understand very well how it was, so I was lucky that she bought the right thing.

Saludos, gente creativa de #DIYHUB, hoy les traigo este cuadro hecho con la técnica "Pintura Diamante". Me acababan de pagar, y fui a un establecimiento a comprar comida y otras cosas, pues estaba en el "área de manualidades", que es el área donde están situadas las cartulinas, marcadores, agendas, etc.

Y en una de esas me percaté de ésta figura, me llamó muchísimo la atención porque tenía muchos diamantes y de varios colores, en ese momento pensaba que quizás no valía la pena y no lo compré, compré otras cosas menos eso.

Hablé con mi mamá, y unos días después ella decidió salir a comprar más comida, así que le encargué que me comprara esa "Pintura Diamante", mi mamá no entendía muy bien como era, así que tuve suerte de que ella comprara lo correcto.

Excited, I did some research on this technique and it turns out that it is very old and well known, dating back to 1999. This set comes with:

• A canvas that in it shows each number, letter or symbol (it has glue all over the canvas, so the diamonds are glued that way). Measures 17.5x17.5 cm.
• Diamonds of different colors that in each package brings the number, letter or symbol (brings more than what will be used).
• A tray that has a few channels that makes the diamonds to be accommodated to give a slight blow, and prevents them from scattering.
• A pencil to paint with the diamonds.
• 2 crayons, which are used to place it with the pencil and thus facilitates the selection of each diamond.

Emocionada, investigué sobre esa técnica y resulta que es muy vieja y conocida, data de los años 1999. Este set trae:

• Un lienzo que en el muestra cada número, letra o símbolo (tiene pega todo el lienzo, por lo que los diamantes se pegan de esa manera). Mide 17.5x17.5 cm.
• Diamantes de diferentes colores que en cada paquete trae el número, letra o símbolo (trae más de lo que se usará).
• Una bandeja que tiene unos canales que hace que se acomoden los diamantes al darle un leve golpe, y evita que se desparramen.
• Un lápiz para pintar con los diamantes.
• 2 ceras, que sirve para colocarlo con el lápiz y así se nos facilita el seleccionar cada diamante.

I watched some videos on YouTube and on Amazon and noticed that most of the sets come with a pre-painted design on the canvas, making it easier to place the diamonds.

I was actually surprised to see how many designs are very nice, this design is small and very easy to make so it is highly recommended.

Ví algunos videos de YouTube y por Amazon y me dí cuenta que la mayoría de los sets vienen con un diseño pre-pintado en el lienzo, haciendo que esto sea más fácil el colocar los diamantes.

La verdad me sorprendió ver la cantidad de diseños que son muy bonitos, este diseño es pequeño y muy fácil de hacer por lo que esta muy recomendado.

I really loved the result, the only bad thing is that I don't have a picture to frame it. But I do not regret having acquired it, I made it on December 23, I found it very entertaining and cute. Making this type of canvas requires patience and a lot of concentration to place each diamond in the corresponding place, so that everything turns out well. One of the advantages is that you can place the plastic again and pause the making of the canvas, since the glue it comes with is very good and does not dry so easily. Me encantó muchísimo el resultado, lo único malo es que no tengo un cuadro para enmarcarlo. Pero no me arrepiento de haberlo adquirido, lo realicé el 23 de diciembre, me pareció muy entretenido y lindo. Realizar este tipo de lienzos amerita de paciencia y mucha concentración para que coloquemos cada diamante en el lugar correspondiente, y que todo salga bien. Una de las ventajas es de que uno puede colocar el plástico nuevamente y pausar la realización del lienzo, ya que la pega que trae es muy buena y no se seca con tanta facilidad.
