Hi there, friends!
I was worried because the deadline for the Christmas.
Contest it's just around the corner.
So last night, I took time to create my first entry to this amazing contest.
I made this beautiful Christmas tree π center piece to decor my dinner table.
This center piece was easy to make. This were the materials I used:
- Frosted Foami.
- Scissors.
- Silicone Gun.
- Pencil.
- 4 Square shapes.
- A Star Shape.
- Ruler.
Step 1: Each square shapes are 2cm smaller. So, I cut out: 14x14cm, 12x12cm, 10x10cm, and 8x8cm. I drew four shapes of each one on the back of the green frosted foami.
Step 2: I cut out all the squares. On the gold frosted foami, I drew a star and cut out two of them.
Step 3: On the back of the squares I drew a cross with a ruler. Those lines would serve as guidelines. And with scissors I cut them just until the crossing point.
Step 4: We make a triangle with the cut part up to the crossing point and glue it with silicone. Then we fold it back and use the guide lines to put silicone and glue it again leaving only the frosted part visible.
We do the same with all the squares until we get all of them folded in triangles.
Step 5: We join all the pieces that are of the same size respectively with silicone and then we open and glue them in the middle.
Step 6: we glued the between every triangle so it would have a better look.
Step 7: we glued the two stars together leaving the frosted part visible.
Step 8: we put every green frosted piece on top of each other and glued them with silicone. We put the bigger one on the base and then we put the others sequentially on that order.
Step 9: With the golden frosted foami, we make a circle to put it on the top of our tree, and after that we glued our star on top of it.
Step 10: with the red frosted foami and the gold one, we make some circles that would have the function of the ornaments in our tree. We glued them randomly and we have our Christmas tree center piece done.
And that's all, guys! I hope you like it as much as I do.
Thanks for being here.
