It's actually my first time posting here, and I am happy to share what I did for my sister to use for her friend's wedding (Asoebi fan) let me enlightened us a little about the asoebi fan,in my state; Akwa Ibom State. When a lady is about to get married she'll open a group called asoebi ladies,and any attire she ask her friends to wear they will compliment it with this fan and without it, their dressing is incomplete. This fan serves a dual purpose, you can actually use it to fan yourself. So my sister didn't want to be left out.
Materials
Stick
Carton
Trimming
Aplix
Bridal satin
Glue
Scissors
Procedures
The first thing I did was to cut out a carton that suits the shape of the fan I wanted to make,then get a stick and measured the length. If you don't want to cut your stick yourself, you can actually buy it from the market.
The next thing I did was to glue the the stick to the carton.
Then I glued the bridal satin to the carton and also rapped the stick with a velvet fabric.
My fan is almost ready, the next thing I did was to rap the trimming around it for the fan to be beautiful.
The last thing I did was to add the applix to the fan and wow my fan is ready.
