Hello everyone, today i decided to do something which I've been meaning to do for awhile. Which is to share my creativity on the DIY hub.

After thinking and looking at the number of simple materials available to me,i decided to make a phone holder or stand.

A phone stand is like a prop used to hold your phone in place. The materials used for this were all gotten from within the house.

It was essential that i used easy to access materials at home, hence the materials you see above.

PROCEDURE

The steps taken to achieve our phone stand are as follows.

• STEP ONE
I first cut out two equal size of cartons which were gotten from my phone dimension.

Then i wrapped sellotape around each carton to prevent it from tearing easily. The next step was to put the cut wires around one of the carton.

After that i put the other carton at the back of the first one with the wire now in between, and finally taped them together.

• STEP TWO
The next step was to cut another piece of carton but this time longer.
This was made into a circular shape and then also taped together to prevent any part from tearing off

Holes were made into the middle of the first part and the second which were then joined together with strips of uninsulated wire.

• STEP THREE
The next step was to do the same as in step two for the base of the phone stand.

I made a hole into the base carton, inserted the pipe shaped carton and then used strips of wire to hold it in place.

• STEP FOUR
The phone stand is finally ready. So i taped it to the ply wood to give the base a sturdier shape.
If you're taking it to a wooden surface, then the plywood might not be needed.

With the materials used, there was some ease as well as difficulty in using them.

S/NADVANTAGESDISADVANTAGES
1Materials i used can be easily accessedCarton is able to tear easily
2Using carton made it easy to form my desired shapeFor longevity i believe stronger materials is recommended
3It took little time to makeUsing material like plastic pipe will take longer time to use

I enjoyed doing this, i hope you were able to follow up till the end.
