Good afternoon, guys. I hope your start of the week is going great. It's been a few days since I last posted due to health problems with my baby and my oldest niece.
Today they are in better health so I decided to help my niece Emily to do a project that a few days ago she asked me to do. She is a very curious girl and since she has seen my sister and me doing crafts she got very interested. She got an idea on how to make a sunset watching videos on Youtube and Instagram.
Creativity is a quality that her mom also has, I don't find it weird at all that my nieces are also interested in this world. In fact I think it's a good thing for them.
Buenas tardes, chicos. Espero su inicio de semana vaya de maravilla. Hace varios días que no publicaba debido a inconvenientes con la salud de mi bebé y mi sobrina mayor.
Hoy ya están mejor de salud, así que decidí ayudar a mi sobrina Emily a hacer un proyecto que hace unos días atrás me pidió. Ella es una niña muy curiosa y como nos ha visto a mi hermana y a mi haciendo manualidades se interesó mucho. Tuvo una idea sobre cómo hacer un atardecer viendo videos en Youtube e Instagram.
La creatividad es una cualidad que también tiene su mamá, no me parece nada raro que mis sobrinas también estén interesas en este mundo. De hecho creo que es algo bueno para ellas.
Very motivated she told me she wanted to do a painting, and while my sister was taking care of my baby I took some time to help her. By helping her I mean taking the pictures and supervising her because I didn't really do anything else.
Muy motivada me dijo que quería hacer una pintura, y mientras mi hermana cuidaba de mi bebé tomé un tiempo para ayudarle. Con ayudarle me refiero a tomar las fotos y supervisarla porque realmente no hice más nada.
For this painting was used:
- Small portrait holder with its glass.
- Paints.
- Scissors.
- Sheet of paper.
- Cardboard.
- Brush.
- Bag.
- Glue stick.
Para esta pintura se usó:
- Porta retratos pequeño con su vidrio.
- Pinturas.
- Tijera.
- Hoja de papel.
- Cartulina.
- Pincel.
- Bolsa.
- Pega en barra.
She glued the sheet of paper to the cardboard.
Pegó la hoja de papel en la cartulina.
Applied 3 large drops of paint. Red, orange and yellow. With the brush she spread them.
Aplicó 3 gotas grandes de pintura. Rojo, naranja y amarillo. Con el pincel esparció.
She blended with the clean brush.
Difuminó con el pincel limpio.
With a thin brush she simulated grass.
Con un pincel delgado simuló el césped.
With black paint she painted the silhouette of a tree and on one of its branches she made a swing with a person on it.
Con pintura negra pintó la silueta de un árbol y en una de sus ramas hizo un columpio con una persona en él.
She added details such as tree leaves with the help of a bag. She made birds and his signature.
Agregó detalles como las hojas del árbol con la ayuda de una bolsa. Hizo aves y su firma.
She put her painting in the portrait holder and that was it.
Introdujo su pintura en el porta retratos y listo.
