I hope our night was amazing. Today I will be sharing with us one of my recent designs. It is a black bead bag which is quite simple to make and beautiful to look at. It is also very classy and I love this design so much. Its a bag you can take out to party, to a date or even a casual outing. I love the fact that it's a black bag because you can pair the bag with any color of cloth and you'd still be looking amazing. I love black bags in general for this reason.
Below I will be taking us through the process of me achieving this design.
MATERIALS USED
- Fishing line
- 1 pack of crystal beads
- Scissors
PROCESS
- To start a new bag, the first thing I do is to make 20 palm rolls of fishing line. Next I make the first flower of 4 beads, cross it until I got the desired width. And I repeated that process until I got my desired length.
- Next I made 3 lines of beads on top of each other at the top of the bag to form the handle. Once I got the desired length, I joined it to the second end of the bag at the top as seen below.
- After that, I made the handle thick by joining the 3beads with a 4th one to form a thick handle.
- Then I repeated same process at the other end of the bag to for the second handle.
- Finally, I beaded the side and I create a lovely V pattern at the top of the side as seen below.
- Voila, our bag is ready. To give it a lovely touch and for the bag to be able to hold what ever is put inside without loosing it, I put inside a black small pouch.
