Beautiful morning to you all my DIY family. Today I will be sharing with us a bag I made over the weekend. I made this bag with a multicolored crystal bead and I'm glad I'm able to achieve this bag with one pack of the bead. The design is a box bag and I've made something similar to this before but with a wider width and a different handle. The previous one I made had a handle going from one side to another but this one's handle is situated on the cover of the bag.
One amazing thing about this bag is that it's very easy to make. It's not complex at all. The only thing thats a bit complex in this bag is the attachment of the handle of the bag but once you get a hang of it, you'd be good to go.
MATERIALS USED
- 0.75mm Fishing line
- 1 pack of multicolored crystal beads
- Scissors
- A pair of magnets
PROCESS
- The first thing I did like always was to cut the fishing line to desired length and make 13 flowers of bead. After that I repeated the same process until I got a length of 8 beads for the front, 5 for the base, 8 for the back, 1 for allowance of the cover, 5 for the top cover and 4 for the flap in front. All these I combined and beaded together as seen below.
- Next, I bended the bag to the desired shape as seen below.
- Here I proceeded to make the sides.
- Once the sides were completed, I made the short handle on top by making rows of four flowers on top each other. Once I got my desired length, I beaded it to the top of the bag.
- Finally, I fixed the pair of magnets.
Voila, our bag is ready.
FINAL LOOK.
