Greetings fellow art and craft lovers. Today I would like to share with you a small collection of splinterlands dwarves that I am planning to make.

The first of these dwarves is Grumpy Dwarf, It is a character that caught my attention and I thought it would look great as a sculpture and I was not wrong. Below you can see a picture of the character and the sculpture I made:

Saludos compañeros amantes del arte y las manualidades. Hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes una pequeña colección de enanos de splinterlands que estoy planeando hacer.

El primero de estos enanos es Grumpy Dwarf, Es un personaje que me llamó la atención y pensé que quedaría genial como escultura y no me equivoqué. A continuación pueden ver una imagen del personaje y de la escultura que yo hice:

Step by step

The materials I used for this sculpture were the following:

• Plasticine
• Wire
• Molding tools and tweezers

Well, with all my materials at hand I started to make the wire skeleton, to give firmness to the figurine. Notice how I bent the wire to achieve all the necessary shapes for the figure to have support.

Los materiales que utilicé para esta escultura fueron los siguientes:

• Plastilina
• Alambre
• Herramientas de moldeado y pinzas

Bien, con todos mis materiales a la mano comencé a hacer el esqueleto de alambre, para darle firmeza a la figurita. Fíjense como doblé el alambre para lograr dar con todas las formas necesarias para que la figura tuviera soporte.

After this I started to make the legs, these I made with black plasticine, molding folds along the plasticine to give an appearance as similar as possible to the bloomers that this dwarf has.

Después de esto comencé a hacer las piernas, estas las hice con plastilina de color negro, moldeando pliegues a lo largo de la plastilina para dar una apariencia lo más similar al pantalón bombacho que tiene este enano.

After making the pants, I continued with the feet, which in this case I used brown plasticine to make the boots.

I also used blue plasticine to cut a flat rectangle of plasticine, which would be a garment that would cover the waist of the character. Dark blue plasticine was the one I used to place around this light blue garment.

Después de hacer el pantalón, continué con los pies, que en este caso usé la plastilina marrón para hacer las botas.

También usé plastilina azul para cortar un rectángulo plano de plastilina, que sería una prenda que cubriría la cintura del personaje. Plastilina azul oscuro fue la que usé para colocarla alrededor de esta prenda azul claro.

After finishing the boots and the waist, I continued with the torso, which I made with the same light blue color that I used to make the rectangle that I left hanging at the waist.

These two pieces, the waist and the torso, I mixed them and continued molding. I also put the arms in place, using black plasticine.

Después de terminar las botas y la cintura, continué con el torso, el cual hice con el mismo color azul claro con el que hice el rectángulo que dejé colgando en la cintura.

Estas dos piezas, la de la cintura el torso, las mezclé y continué moldeando. También coloqué los brazos en su lugar, usando plastilina de color negro.

Later I made the glove with the axe, trying to make the hands with as many details as possible, because they are large and it is something that draws attention to the character.

I also put the belt, although the beard will cover it, I did it with everything I had to have. So I used brown plasticine to tighten it at the waist.

Posteriormente le hice el guante con el hacha, tratando de hacerle las manos con la mayor cantidad de detalles posibles, pues son grandes y es algo que llama la atención del personaje.

El cinturón también se lo coloqué, aunque la barba lo tapará, lo hice con todo lo que debía tener. Así que usé plastilina marrón para ceñirlo en la cintura.

The last thing was to put the right glove in place and thus the body of the dwarf was completely finished. But we still have to finish the whole figure so let's not sing victory.

Lo último fue colocar el guante derecho en su lugar y de esta manera el cuerpo del enano quedó completamente terminado. Pero aún falta para terminar toda la figura así que no cantemos victoria.

One of the nicest things that the character has is the shield, from my point of view it is very nice so I tried to make it with bright colors, as you can see in the two images below:

Una de las cosas más bonitas que tiene el personaje es el escudo, desde mi punto de vista es muy lindo así que traté de hacerlo con colores llamativos, tal como pueden ver en las dos imágenes de abajo:

Then I continued with the head, which I had a hard time doing but I managed to make it keeping the battle expression of this dwarf.

You can see in the images below how I started to make it and then how it looks on the body of the character, after placing the teeth and tongue:

Luego continué con la cabeza, que bien me costó hacer pero logré hacerla conservando la expresión de batalla de este enano.

Pueden ver en las imágenes de abajo cómo comencé a hacerla y luego cómo se ve en el cuerpo del personaje, después de colocarle los dientes y la lengua:

Something that is very striking about the dwarf is his hair and whiskers. I tried to make it as close to the color of the card as possible, even while I was doing it you can see that I took a picture of him before and after I put the mustache, something that makes a big difference:

Algo que es muy llamativo del enano es su cabello y sus bigotes. Traté de hacerlo del color más parecido al de la carta, incluso mientras lo hacía pueden ver que le tomé una foto antes y después de colocarle el bigote, algo que marca una gran diferencia:

The last thing was to place the shoulder pads, something that also makes a big difference in the character if they are not placed. Notice how it looks above without the shoulder pads and how it looks below when I put them on:

Lo último fue colocar las hombreras, algo que también marca una gran diferencia en el personaje si no se colocan. Fíjense cómo se ve arriba sin las hombreras y cómo se ve a continuación cuando se las coloqué:
