Introduction
@DIYHub is a fully non-profit curation initiative with 10 curators working every day to encourage creators who share their knowledge and skills with the world via our beloved hive blockchain. We call ourselves "fully non-profit" because we payout 100% of the curation rewards to our delegators.
Recurring Curation Reports
Every two days, we publish our curation report, i.e all the posts we have curated in a particular category for that week. All of our curations will get listed, linked, and highlighted in our recurring curation reports grouped by the main curation categories of @DIYHub: art, music, DIY, and nature.
Support for our Curation
In the past, we had the huge support of hive holders who noticed our efforts and the positive effect of our initiative on the community of creators. Big thank you to @buildawhale @themarkymark @redes @whangster79 @x30 @piotrgrafik @roelandp for their continuous support over the last months. You made it possible for us to show appreciation to our curators who are actively searching for quality and original content all over the hive blockchain. We also do hope for your continuous support to aid us in sustaining our project and spreading the love.
Also, the positive feedback we have received from the curated hive creators over the years has given us momentum and a reason to continue even though we lost many delegations in the past due to dependency issues and various failing API nodes - which has been resolved since a few weeks already.
The moment everything has changed
We have been running this concept for years now and we never encountered any issue with our recurring curation reports until one month ago when @spaminator noticed a potential reward pool abuse by us. We started getting downvotes and the reason for the downvotes was that the posts were automatically shared.
@Tibfox got in contact quickly and turned off the automated posts completely to cancel any potential damage to the service we worked for so long.
We will continue but in a different way
After some adjustment, one of our curators @stevenson7 now takes full manual control over the report we publish. We have started our reports again to capture some income for rewarding the hard-working curators. We reward our curators with a symbolic hive transfer every week and we need the additional income we make from our reports. As we wrote in the beginning we pay out the curation rewards to our delegators and there is not much left for rewarding our curators.
Now we are back sharing all of our curations and we highlight one specific post in every report. Also, we will make more activities in the near future to fill our feed with some more life. More to come soon. Anticipate.
If you want to support us please consider giving us a delegation via the links below. Also, we would be very grateful if you want to support our curation reports with a little upvote.
Big thank you to the community!
