Hoy vamos a realizar calabazas a crochet. Estas son calabazas muy fáciles de tejer. Puedes elegir el hilo de tu preferencia y el gancho adecuado para ese hilo. En mi proyecto utilicé los siguientes materiales:
- Estambre escolar de los colores verde y anaranjado.
- Aguja de crochet de 2,50mm.
- Tijeras.
- Algodón para rellenar.
- Aguja lanera.
Today we are going to crochet pumpkins. These are very easy to crochet pumpkins. You can choose the yarn of your preference and the right hook for that yarn. In my project I used the following materials:
- School yarn in the colors green and orange.
- Crochet needle of 2.50mm.
- Scissors.
- Cotton for stuffing.
- Wool needle.
🎃 El procedimiento para realizar las calabazas es bastante sencillo, vamos a tejer con el punto elástico.
🎃 Tomamos el hilo color anaranjado para tejer 15 puntos. Enseguida vamos a tejer 3pb. Luego 3pma. Después 3pa. Inmediatamente vamos a devolvernos en forma de espejo. Esta y todas las sientes vueltas serán idénticas, siempre tejiendo en blo o tomando solo la hebra de atrás del punto.
🎃 Vamos a tejer cuantas vueltas sean necesarias para lograr el tamaño de la calabaza. Podemos ir probando a manera de presentación e ir midiendo.
🎃 Una vez alcanzado el tamaño deseado vamos a unir ambos extremos del tejido.
🎃 Usando esa misma hebra vamos a cerrar uno de los orificios del tejido. Seguidamente ponemos el algodón para rellenar.
🎃 Después de colocar el algodón cerramos el otro orificio del tejido.
🎃 The procedure to make the pumpkins is quite simple, we are going to knit with the stretch stitch.
🎃 We take the orange colored yarn to knit 15 stitches. Next we are going to knit 3pb. Then 3pma. Then 3pa. Immediately we are going to turn back in a mirror shape. This and all you feel rounds will be identical, always knitting in bloom or taking only the back strand of the stitch.
🎃 We will knit as many rows as necessary to achieve the size of the pumpkin. We can go testing by way of presentation and go measuring.
🎃 Once we have reached the desired size we are going to join both ends of the knit.
🎃 Using that same strand we are going to close one of the holes in the fabric. Next we put the cotton to stuff.
🎃 After placing the cotton we close the other hole of the fabric.
🎃 Después de cerrar el segundo orificio pasamos el hilo por todo el medio de la calabaza para sacarlo por el otro extremo, debemos hacer algo de presión porque la idea es hundir esa parte del tejido.
🎃 Luego vamos a pasar el hilo, igual haciendo presión, de un extremo a otro para separar o hacer divisiones (marcarlas).
🎃 After closing the second hole we pass the thread through the whole middle of the pumpkin to pull it out through the other end, we must make some pressure because the idea is to sink that part of the fabric.
🎃 Then we are going to pass the thread, the same doing pressure, from one end to the other to separate or make divisions (mark them).
🎃 Con el estambre de color verde vamos a tejer el tallo y la hoja. Empezamos desde un anillo mágico de 8 puntos. Luego hacemos dos disminuciones para tener solo 6pb. A partir de allí tejemos varias vueltas de 6 puntos bajos. Cerramos. Desde ese mismo punto tejemos 7 puntos y nos devolvemos con puntos bajos y medios puntos altos. Dejamos hilos para coserlo en la calabaza.
🎃 With the green colored yarn we are going to knit the stem and the leaf. We start from a magic ring of 8 stitches. Then we make two decreases to have only 6pb. From there we knit several rounds of 6 low stitches. We close. From that same stitch we knit 7 stitches and return with single and half double crochet. We leave yarns to sew into the pumpkin.
🎃 Con ayuda de la aguja lanera cosemos el tallo a la calabaza. Al finalizar cortamos el hilo y escondemos la hebra por dentro del tejido. Igualmente ocultamos la hebra de color anaranjado.
🎃 With the help of the wool needle we sew the stem to the pumpkin. At the end we cut the thread and hide the yarn inside the fabric. We also hide the orange thread.
🎃 Siguiendo este patrón podemos hacer calabazas de cualquier tamaño. He realizado varias, en esta oportunidad tejí dos pequeñas, pero muy bonitas. Si deseas personalizarlas con ojitos y boquita se verían también muy bonitas. O hacerlas terroríficas 🎃 A mi nunca me quedan de 😱 terror, así que no les haré expresión esta vez.
🎃 Following this pattern we can make pumpkins of any size. I have made several, this time I knitted two small ones, but very cute. If you want to customize them with little eyes and mouth they would also look very nice. Or make them terrifying 🎃 I never get them 😱 terrifying, so I won't make an expression this time.
