it's with great pleasure to share what i did today with you all.
Today i decided to make a bracelet for myself.
Am a lover of pearl beads and most times i work a lot with it,.
But I had this pink beads in my store for a long time and i haven't used it for a long time, though i had use it once,
i was always wondering when I'll use it again.
So today i decided to make use of it, since i was less busy.
At first i wondered what i would make with it, then a thought of creating a bracelet came in and i decided to make one today.
Here are the materials i used in creating it.
- pink color bead
- plier
- fishing line
- green crystal bead
- hooks
Here are the steps i took
First step :
I got a fishing lining and one part of the hook,i inserted the fishing lining through the hook and i tied it firmly, sometimes, i usually insert the hook at the end of the bead making,but today's own i decided to fix it before starting the beads, because it makes my work easier especially if there's no plier.
After i had tied the fishing lining to the hook firmly,two lines of the fishing lining was created .
Second step:
I got a hand needle and fixed it through a firm surface ,i took the fishing lining i had inserted on the hook and fixed it on the needle,this method helps and makes my work easier , especially when there is no one
to hold the fishing lining at the other end.
Next step:
I got two pink beads first,
i put each of them on each of the fishing lining
Next step :
I got my green color crystal beads and i put it on one of the fishing lining and i took the other fishing lining and cross it through the green crystal bead.
Next step:
I selected six more pink beads for the next steps and i took three beads and i fixed three of it on the right side and i took the other three beads and i fixed it on the left side.
Next step:
I got the green crystal bead again and i fixed it through one of the fishing lining and cross it through with the other line.
I continued with the same procedure by adding more pink and green beads till i had my desired length.
I didn't use measuring tape for the measurements, but you can use yours if you intend to create something like this,
I didn't know where my kids kept mine,so i decided to keep trying it around my wrist to check for the correct measurements,
especially each time i felt that the length was close to my wrist
Next step :
Finally i tried it again and the length was enough to go through my wrist,so i decided to end it there.
I took the remaining part of the hook and i inserted the remaining part of the hook to the ending part of the bracelet and i was careful to tied it firmly.
Because without it being tied properly
it can easily get lose.
