En un paseo por algunas tiendas de bisutería en el centro de Barquisimeto, me topé con unos hermosos dijes que tienen orificios de ambos lados, por lo que no lo pensé dos veces para comprarlos y hacer unas hermosas pulseras con ellos. El que voy a utilizar para la creación de hoy es una palabra que para mí tiene mucha importancia, ya que sin fe es imposible agradar a Dios… Así que los invite a que juntos hagamos una hermosa creación.
On a walk through some jewelry stores in downtown Barquisimeto, I came across some beautiful charms that have holes on both sides, so I did not think twice to buy them and make some beautiful bracelets with them. The one I am going to use for today's creation is a word that is very important to me, because without faith it is impossible to please God... So I invite you to make a beautiful creation together.

Para comenzar nuestro trabajo del día de hoy, vamos a tomar nuestro hilo conjuntamente con la cita métrica y procedemos a medir 20 centímetros de manera doble y posteriormente a cortar.
To begin our work today, we are going to take our thread together with the metric date and proceed to measure 20 centimeters in a double way and then to cut.
Este procedimiento lo vamos a realizar dos veces, es decir tendremos dos trozos de hilo con la misma medida.
This procedure will be done twice, i.e. we will have two pieces of yarn with the same size.
Una vez tengamos estos trozos de hilo vamos a tomar el dije y haciendo un nudo sencillo, introduciremos el hilo tratando de que las puntas del hilo queden simétricas.
Once we have these pieces of thread we will take the pendant and making a simple knot, we will introduce the thread trying that the ends of the thread are symmetrical.
Repetiremos el paso con el otro lado del dije. De modo tal, que tengamos el mismo largo en cada lado del dije.

Ahora bien, comenzaremos a tejer nuestra pulsera, para ello vamos hacer uso de un soporte. Existen unas tablas movibles para realizar este tipo de trabajo, se pueden encontrar en algunas de las tiendas donde venden materiales de bisutería o la pueden mandar a construir con un carpintero. En mi caso, aun no la tengo, es por ello que utilizo una caja de zapatos con un sujetador (tal como se muestra en la imagen).
Now, we will begin to weave our bracelet, for this we will make use of a support. There are some movable boards to do this type of work, you can find them in some of the stores where they sell jewelry materials or you can have them made by a carpenter. In my case, I don't have it yet, that's why I use a shoe box with a fastener (as shown in the picture).
Ahora vamos a tomar nuevamente el hilo, mediremos 50 centímetros y procedemos a cortar.

En este momento procedemos a tejer nuestra pulsera con nudos macramé. Comenzamos haciendo un nudo bastante firme cercano al dije y comenzamos a tejer.
At this point we proceed to weave our bracelet with macrame knots. We begin by tying a fairly firm knot close to the charm and start weaving.
Vamos a repetir este paso del otro lado hasta que obtengamos el largo deseado.
We will repeat this step on the other side until we obtain the desired length.
Ahora tomaremos los balines y los introducimos en ambos lados de nuestra pulsera. En este paso es bueno que volvamos a medir nuestra pulsera para hacer los nudos de modo tal que nos quede tal como deseamos, justo a nuestra medida, de ser para nosotros la pulsera. Si por el contrario la pulsera es para otra persona lo ideal es dejar un largo de 8 centímetros.
Now we will take the beads and insert them on both sides of our bracelet. In this step it is good that we return to measure our bracelet to make the knots so that we are as we want, just to our measure, if the bracelet is for us. If on the other hand the bracelet is for another person the ideal is to leave a length of 8 centimeters.
Ya es momento de cerrar nuestra pulsera, para ello tomaremos nuevamente el rollo de hilo, cortaremos un trozo pequeño de hilo y doblaremos ambos lados de la pulsera para tejer nuevamente un macramé que nos servirá para abrir y cerrar nuestra hermosa pulsera.
Now it is time to close our bracelet, for this we will take again the roll of thread, cut a small piece of thread and fold both sides of the bracelet to weave again a macramé that will serve to open and close our beautiful bracelet.
Finalmente debemos cortar los excedentes y quemar con cuidado todas las puntas de nuestra pulsera, para que quede totalmente segura.
Finally we must cut off the excess and carefully burn all the ends of our bracelet, so that it is completely secure.
