Fiesta is like a holiday celebration that includes food, drinks and music. There is also a parade in the whole town right on the day of the celebration. This is a great way to enjoy it with family and friends. There is food to offer to make sure no one will be hungry; There are drinks as well to make time crazier when time passes by. Music is part of the holiday that in a certain place right in the center of the town will be held a disco. So a fiesta is the grandest celebration in every small village.
However, fiesta is not just about a holiday - it's a reflection of a Saint's identity. That's why there is a mass and also a celebration of culture and history. People from other villages came to light candles after they went into someone's house and when they were done roaming around. It is part of the traditions that we believe prayers will be heard when praying on this day.
The empty road will become a crowded one because of the people from different villages expecting to have a livelier that day. Smiling faces are everywhere as the people set foot in the villages that are celebrating the fiesta.
Well, before the eating, drinking and partying start. A mass will be happening first, it is as if it is a blessing for the day's celebration. So before anything else, people gathered first in the church to attend the mass.
Most people then start to go to the houses of their relatives, friends, classmates and to random houses but only those who are not embarrassed to do that. You will not be rejected when you go to random houses and can enter to eat. That's what fiesta is all about so anyone is welcome to eat.
When the day gets darker, it is now the time for a disco party. It always happens in an open place and a wide one. This is to make sure that many people can attend or can join the party. Well, it's not free so I doubt that many people can get inside even if they want to. Even so, it's an open area so everyone can enjoy the sounds and the lights. That's how a fiesta all about, it's enjoying, entertaining and most of all the day worth remembering.
