Apart from that, food can also function as medicine to treat various diseases. I will share food recipes that I usually use to relieve fever and also treat canker sores. I will make cucumber agar agar.
Cucumber is a fruit that is rich in water and minerals. One of the properties of cucumber is that it has a cooling effect on the stomach, therefore traditional people often consume cucumber to reduce fever and treat canker sores. Agar agar is a food ingredient that is rich in fiber. This menu is also suitable for diabetics (don't use sugar when cooking jelly) The method for making cucumber agar is also very easy, I only need to cook the agar until it boils and mix it with grated cucumber.
Ingredients
The Ingredients used are :
2 packets of agar agar
300 grams of cucumber
800 mL of water
3 tablespoons of sugar
How to make
First I will process the cucumbers, I buy cucumbers that are still young and dark green. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly, I didn't throw away the skin, then I grated the cucumber, I liked the fresh taste of the cucumber, so I didn't throw away the water.
2.Then I pour water into the pan, I will cook the jelly in the pan.
3.Then I added agar agar flour, I chose white agar flour, because it is easy to combine with the colors of other food ingredients.
4.Lastly I added sugar, I don't like a taste that is too sweet, therefore I only added 3 tablespoons of sugar, if you like a sweet taste, you can add sugar according to your taste.
Then stir the mixture so that there are no more lumps of gelatin flour.
5.Then cook the agar agar over low heat.
6.Don't forget to stir the mixture as it cooks, so that the flour doesn't settle to the bottom of the pan and burn.
7.Turn off the stove after the mixture boils, then leave it for a while so that the hot steam drops.
8.Put the cucumber into the mold.
9.Add agar agar mixture.
10.Leave the mixture until the hot steam disappears, I will put the mixture in the freezer, therefore I will let it sit so that the hot steam disappears, this will also help maintain the freshness of the cucumber.
11.After the hot steam disappeared, I put the agar mixture into the freezer, so the mixture hardened faster.
The result
After two hours in the freezer, I took out the agar agar, it seemed like the agar agar had hardened.
then I put it on a serving plate, I will turn the agar upside down. we can see how fresh the green color of the cucumber is.
Even though I put it in the freezer, it doesn't freeze, because the temperature isn't too low, so it just hardens. When you eat it, the fresh taste of the cucumber explodes in your mouth, the sweetness is just right.
