This one snack is a special dish to replace my desire to eat dimsum which is widely sold out there, almost 99 percent of sellers in my area do not sell vegan dimsum as I want it. Finally, I also tried to make something different, processed dimsum with sweet and savory corn filling, especially with the addition of special spices in this dish. The manufacturing process is quite time consuming, which is almost 1 hour 30 minutes in the kitchen. However, a strong intention to get the perfect dimsum result was my desire from the start to start cooking.
Made from flour and other ingredients that are already available in the refrigerator, it makes it easier for me to prepare this special dish. This dish I specially made for myself, while filling my day off from work. Because usually weekends like this, it makes me bored in the room. Therefore escaping in the kitchen was the right choice in my opinion. Moreover, the atmosphere of the rainy season as it is today, given the road access that is not easy to take to get out of the house just to look for other food ingredients.

HOW TO PREPARE CORN DIMSUM
Dimsum Skin Preparation
Ingredients
1 teaspoon salt
Enough warm water
Sweet Spicy Sauce Preparation
Ingredient
Brown sugar to taste
1 teaspoon salt
1 clove of garlic
10 pieces of cayenne pepper
Step 1
The first step, roast all the ingredients, except brown sugar then roast it until it releases a fragrant aroma and the ingredients turn brown
Step 2
Then puree all ingredients except salt using a blender, puree as smooth as possible.

Then heat the oil in a frying pan, add the sauce ingredients that have been blended.
Step 4
Then add bay leaves and pandan leaves to taste, this is optional.
Step 5
Next cook until cooked, and don't forget to season with salt and add a little water. Cook until completely cooked.
Dimsum Stuffing Preparation and Final Stage
After making the skin and sauce I proceeded to make this very simple corn dimsum filling. Now this stage is the last stage of preparation before the dimsum is steamed. Well the first thing to do is to prepare some ingredients, here are the reviews.
Stuffing Ingredients
1 tablespoon tapioca flour
3 stalks of celery
1 teaspoon pepper powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon water
STEP 1 Grate the corn from the cob all over the corn, then also chop the celery leaves.
STEP 2 After everything is chopped, add all the ingredients and stir until evenly distributed until the corn, flour and water and other spices come together.
STEP 3 Then prepare 1 sheet of dimsum skin and add a spoonful of corn filling.
STEP 4 Shape according to taste until the filling does not come out when steamed.
STEP 5 After everything is steamed in a preheated steamer, and then covered with a steamer cover so that the steam water does not fall on the surface of the dimsum.Steam for about 20 minutes so that the corn and dimsum skin are cooked perfectly, remove and serve with a delicious sauce.
SERVING SUGGESTION
I highly recommend that you serve this dish while it's warm, because dimsum is very suitable to be eaten while it's warm, especially when combined with sweet and spicy sauce, it will be very tempting. You know the taste of this dimsum does not disappoint at all, the sweet corn from the dimsum filling is easy to taste, sweet and savory. And the dimsum skin is really flexible, it doesn't tear at all when steaming, it's not even hard at all. And the most surprising thing is that when you eat it with a spicy, sweet and savory peanut sauce, it will make you really find the sensation of this dish. In my opinion this is the best vegan dimsum I have ever tried.
