How are you? So welcome to my new post.Today I have brought a very useful recipe for all of you. The name of our friendly community is Plantpower Community. So today I am going to show the power of the curry plant. Sinhala New Year is celebrated in Sri Lanka these days. So these days we eat a lot of sweet foods, oily foods etc.

It is certain that our body health is not so good these days after eating oily food. Our mother makes a paste of curry leaves for us to control body oil.

So I have to say that this curry leaves paste is a famous and delicious food in our homes. It can be introduced as a very good food for cholesterol control. It is also very beneficial for people with diabetes and high blood pressure.

Curry leaves can be introduced as an indispensable food flavoring in cooking in Sri Lankan curries. Also, it must be said that the taste and quality of curry leaves cannot be overstated.

So let's see how to make this cholesterol-controlling curry leaves paste.

We need these ingredients

  • A few fresh curry leaves
  • Large onion 01
  • Tomato 01
  • Green chilies 03
  • Lemon 01
  • Dry chili pods 04
  • Salt 02 tsp
  • A few Pepper seeds
  • Snorings 05
  • Garlic cloves 04

Method of preparation

  • 1 step

Clean the curry leaves. Cut the ingredients needed for this paste and keep them separately (onion, tomato, garlic, green chili).


  • 2 step

Oky. Now let's prepare the paste. I use a traditional grinding stone to grind this paste. You can use the blender for this. First, sprinkle a few drops of water on the curry leaves and grind them well.


  • 3 step

After grinding curry leaves add to that , pepper seeds ,salt powder and dry chilies . Aging grind these well.


  • 4 step

Now add to that paste snorings and garlic cloves and grind it well


  • 5 step

Now add chopped onions and green chillies. I add only one green chili , because Our mother said that green chillies are not added to this paste. So if you like, you can not add green chilies.


  • 6 step

Now add tomato and grind it well .


  • 7 step

Oky curry leave paste is ready . Now add some drops of lemons.and mix it.


Yes, now the curry paste is ready to eat. So you can also eat a paste like this with rice at the end of the day when you eat oily food. Also, when eating with rice and other curries, keep a little of this paste on the side of the plate and eat it. It will be beneficial for your healthy life.

This paste can be eaten by keeping it in the refrigerator for about a week. This paste is my best friend's favorite food. She eats this paste to control his cholesterol and reduce her stomach. If you think this recipe will be useful to others, please share it.See you again in a new post.
